<title>perf bpf: Validate array presence before casting BPF prog info pointers</title>

Several functions cast bpf_prog_info fields (jited_ksyms,
jited_func_lens, jited_prog_insns) from u64 to pointers and
dereference them. These fields are only valid pointers if
bpil_offs_to_addr() converted their file offsets to addresses, which
only happens when the corresponding PERF_BPIL_* bits are set in
info_linear-&gt;arrays.

A crafted perf.data can leave these bits unset while setting non-zero
counts and offset values, causing the functions to dereference raw file
offsets as pointers.

Add array bitmask validation to all perf.data processing paths:

  - __bpf_event__print_bpf_prog_info(): check JITED_KSYMS and
    JITED_FUNC_LENS (changed to take struct perf_bpil *)
  - machine__process_bpf_event_load(): check JITED_KSYMS
  - bpf_read(): check JITED_INSNS before memcpy from jited_prog_insns
  - dso__disassemble_filename(): check JITED_INSNS before returning
    jited_prog_insns pointer

This collects metadata for any BPF programs that were loaded during a
"perf record" run, and emits it at the end of the run.

Look for .rodata maps, find ones with 'bpf_metadata_' variables, extract
their values as strings, and create a new PERF_RECORD_BPF_METADATA
synthetic event using that data. The code gets invoked from the existing
routine perf_event__synthesize_one_bpf_prog().

For example, a BPF program with the following variables:

    const char bpf_metadata_version[] SEC(".rodata") = "3.14159";
    int bpf_metadata_value[] SEC(".rodata") = 42;

would generate a PERF_RECORD_BPF_METADATA record with:

    .prog_name        = &lt;BPF program name, e.g. "bpf_prog_a1b2c3_foo"&gt;
    .nr_entries       = 2
    .entries[0].key   = "version"
    .entries[0].value = "3.14159"
    .entries[1].key   = "value"
    .entries[1].value = "42"

Each of the BPF programs and subprograms that share those variables would
get a distinct PERF_RECORD_BPF_METADATA record, with the ".prog_name"
showing the name of each program or subprogram. The prog_name is
deliberately the same as the ".name" field in the corresponding
PERF_RECORD_KSYMBOL record.

This code only gets invoked if support for displaying BTF char arrays
as strings is detected.

Add variants of perf_env__insert_bpf_prog_info(), perf_env__insert_btf()
and perf_env__find_btf prefixed with __ to indicate the
env-&gt;bpf_progs.lock is assumed held.

Call these variants when the lock is held to avoid recursively taking it
and potentially having a thread deadlock with itself.

To prepare for impending deprecation of libbpf's bpf_program__get_prog_info_linear(),
pull in the function and associated helpers into the perf codebase and migrate
existing uses to the perf copy.

Since libbpf's deprecated definitions will still be visible to perf, it is necessary
to rename perf's definitions.

Renaming bpf_event__add_sb_event() to evlist__add_sb_event() and
requiring that the evlist be allocated beforehand.

This will allow using the same side band thread and evlist to be used
for multiple purposes in addition to react to PERF_RECORD_BPF_EVENT soon
after they are generated.

Those are the only routines using the perf_event__handler_t typedef and
are all related, so move to a separate header to reduce the header
dependency tree, lots of places were getting event.h and even stdio.h,
limits.h indirectly, so fix those as well.
