VRAM manager is related directly to struct xe_vram_region so it
should be inside this structure.
Let's move the VRAM to struct xe_vram_region.
v2:
- remove xe_vram_region pointer from xe_ttm_vram_mgr
- stop use dynamic alloaction for xe_ttm_vram_mgr in xe_vram_region
- rename struct xe_ttm_vram_mgr vram_mgr to ttm

The xe_mem_region structure has so far been used only in the context
of VRAM regions. Also, the description of its fields clearly indicates
that it was designed for VRAM regions. This struct is strictly related
only to VRAM.
So let's be clear on this point and rename it to xe_vram_region.

So far, the main condition for using LMTT has been to check that
the device is a discrete gfx.
Let's add a dedicated function to check if the device supports LMTT
as not all future discrete GPU platforms will require LMTT.
v2:
- use xe_has_device_lmtt only when necessary - leave IS_DGFX for other
things related to LMEM provisioning
v3:

We should now have sufficient changes in the driver to run it on
PTL platforms in the SR-IOV Physical Function (PF) mode, that would
allow us to enable SR-IOV Virtual Functions (VFs), and successfully
probe our driver in the VF mode on enabled VF devices.
To unblock SR-IOV PF mode you need to load xe with modparam:
xe.max_vfs=7
Then to enable VFs it is sufficient to use:
$ echo 7 > /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:00:02.0/sriov_numvfs
Note that in default auto-provisioning all VFs are allocated with
some amount of shared resources (like unlimited GPU execution and
preemption times, fair GGTT space, fair GuC context IDs range, ...)
However with CONFIG_DEBUG_FS enabled it is possible to tweak most
of the SR-IOV configuration parameters using attributes like:
/sys/kernel/debug/dri/0000:00:02.0/gt0/

The current encoding, is done by converting 13bits of input into 4
decimal digits, that are then encoded efficiently using the numeric
encoding of the QR code specification.
The Fido v2.2 specification [1] uses a similar approach for its
QR-initiated authentication. The only difference is that it converts
7 bytes (56bits) of input into 17 decimal digits. The benefit is that
the algorithm doesn't require to split input bytes into 13bits chunk,
and the ratio is a bit better.
This improvement was proposed by Jó Ágila Bitsch in [2].
drm_panic is still young, and the QR code feature is not widely used,
so it's still time to switch to a common algorithm, shared with a
widely used standard.
I also changed the name of the url parameter, from zl= to z=, so the
website can keep backward compatibility if needed.

Inside the probe function when pm_runtime_enable() is called,
the PM core invokes a resume callback if the device Host1x is
in a suspended state. As it can be seen in the logs above,
this leads to host1x_intr_start() function call which is
trying to acquire a mutex lock. But, the function
host_intr_init() only gets called after the pm_runtime_enable()
where mutex is initialised leading to the use of mutex
prior to its initialisation.
Fix this by moving the mutex initialisation prior to the runtime
PM enablement function pm_runtime_enable() in probe.

This will display the sizes of kenrel BO's bound to an open file, which are
otherwise not exposed to UM through a handle.
The sizes recorded are as follows:
- Per group: suspend buffer, protm-suspend buffer, syncobjcs
- Per queue: ringbuffer, profiling slots, firmware interface
- For all heaps in all heap pools across all VM's bound to an open file,
record size of all heap chuks, and for each pool the gpu_context BO too.
This does not record the size of FW regions, as these aren't bound to a
specific open file and remain active through the whole life of the driver.

This is motivated by the desire of some drivers (eg. Panthor) to print the
size of internal memory regions with a prefix that reflects the driver
name, as suggested in the previous documentation commit.
That means adding a new argument to print_size and making it available for

Add new entries in stats for vma page faults. If CONFIG_DEBUG_FS is
enabled, the count and number of bytes can be viewed per GT in the
stat debugfs file. This helps when testing, to confirm page faults
have been triggered as expected. It also helps when looking at the
performance impact of page faults. Data is simply collected when
entering the page fault handler so there is no indication whether
it completed successfully, with or without retries, etc.
Example output:
cat /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/gt0/stats
tlb_inval_count: 129
vma_pagefault_count: 12
vma_pagefault_bytes: 98304

Bspec lists different VT-d guard numbers (the number of dummy
padding PTEs) for different platforms and plane types. Use those
instead of just assuming the max glk+ number for everything.
This could avoid a bit of overhead on older platforms due to
reduced padding, and it makes it easier to cross check with the
spec.
Note that VLV/CHV do not document this w/a at all, so not sure
if it's actually needed or not. Nor do we actually know how much
padding is required if it is needed. For now use the same 128
PTEs that we use for snb-bdw primary planes.

Currently i915_gem_object_pin_to_display_plane() uses
i915_gem_object_get_tile_row_size() to calculate the tile row
size for the VT-d guard w/a. That's not really proper since
i915_gem_object_get_tile_row_size() only works for fenced BOs,
nor does it take rotation into account.
Remedy the situation by calculating the VT-d guard size in the
display code where we have more information readily available.
Although the default guard size (168 PTEs now) should cover
the more typical fb size use cases anyway, and only very large
Y/Yf-tiled framebuffers might have tile row size that exceeds it.

The RK3588 specific implementation is currently quite limited in terms
of handling the full range of display modes supported by the connected

Additionally, it doesn't cope well with non-integer refresh rates like

Make use of HDMI0 PHY PLL as a more accurate DCLK source to handle
