commit 4c5e354a974214dfb44cd23fa0429327693bc3ea upstream.

When shutting down the device, the struct ser_cardstate must not be
kfree()d immediately after the call to platform_device_unregister()
since the embedded struct platform_device is still in use.
Move the kfree() call to the release method instead.

commit 40d24c4d8a7430aa4dfd7a665fa3faf3b05b673f upstream.

There are two issue here.
1) cnt starts as maxloop + 1 so all these loops iterate one more time
    than intended.
2) At the end of the loop we test for "if (maxloop &amp;&amp; !cnt)" but for
    the first two loops, we end with cnt equal to -1. Changing this to
    a pre-op means we end with cnt set to 0.

commit 4ab42d78e37a294ac7bc56901d563c642e03c4ae upstream.

Currently slhc_init() treats out-of-range values of rslots and tslots
as equivalent to 0, except that if tslots is too large it will
dereference a null pointer (CVE-2015-7799).

Add a range-check at the top of the function and make it return an
ERR_PTR() on error instead of NULL. Change the callers accordingly.

Compile-tested only.

<title>isdnloop: several buffer overflows</title>

<content type='text'>
[ Upstream commit 7563487cbf865284dcd35e9ef5a95380da046737 ]

There are three buffer overflows addressed in this patch.

1) In isdnloop_fake_err() we add an 'E' to a 60 character string and
then copy it into a 60 character buffer. I have made the destination
buffer 64 characters and I'm changed the sprintf() to a snprintf().

2) In isdnloop_parse_cmd(), p points to a 6 characters into a 60
character buffer so we have 54 characters. The -&gt;eazlist[] is 11
characters long. I have modified the code to return if the source
buffer is too long.

3) In isdnloop_command() the cbuf[] array was 60 characters long but the
max length of the string then can be up to 79 characters. I made the
cbuf array 80 characters long and changed the sprintf() to snprintf().
I also removed the temporary "dial" buffer and changed it to use "p"
directly.

Unfortunately, we pass the "cbuf" string from isdnloop_command() to
isdnloop_writecmd() which truncates anything over 60 characters to make
it fit in card-&gt;omsg[]. (It can accept values up to 255 characters so
long as there is a '\n' character every 60 characters). For now I have
just fixed the memory corruption bug and left the other problems in this
driver alone.

<title>net: rework recvmsg handler msg_name and msg_namelen logic</title>

CVE-2013-7266

BugLink: http://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1267081

This patch now always passes msg-&gt;msg_namelen as 0. recvmsg handlers must
set msg_namelen to the proper size &lt;= sizeof(struct sockaddr_storage)
to return msg_name to the user.

This prevents numerous uninitialized memory leaks we had in the
recvmsg handlers and makes it harder for new code to accidentally leak
uninitialized memory.

Optimize for the case recvfrom is called with NULL as address. We don't
need to copy the address at all, so set it to NULL before invoking the
recvmsg handler. We can do so, because all the recvmsg handlers must
cope with the case a plain read() is called on them. read() also sets
msg_name to NULL.

Also document these changes in include/linux/net.h as suggested by David
Miller.

Changes since RFC:

Set msg-&gt;msg_name = NULL if user specified a NULL in msg_name but had a
non-null msg_namelen in verify_iovec/verify_compat_iovec. This doesn't
affect sendto as it would bail out earlier while trying to copy-in the
address. It also more naturally reflects the logic by the callers of
verify_iovec.

With this change in place I could remove "
if (!uaddr || msg_sys-&gt;msg_namelen == 0)
	msg-&gt;msg_name = NULL
".

This change does not alter the user visible error logic as we ignore
msg_namelen as long as msg_name is NULL.

Also remove two unnecessary curly brackets in ___sys_recvmsg and change
comments to netdev style.

commit bc10f96757bd6ab3721510df8defa8f21c32f974 upstream.

Remove the call to tty_ldisc_flush() from the RESULT_NO_CARRIER
branch of isdn_tty_modem_result(), as already proposed in commit
00409bb045887ec5e7b9e351bc080c38ab6bfd33.
This avoids a "sleeping function called from invalid context" BUG
when the hardware driver calls the statcallb() callback with
command==ISDN_STAT_DHUP in atomic context, which in turn calls
isdn_tty_modem_result(RESULT_NO_CARRIER, ~), and from there,
tty_ldisc_flush() which may sleep.
