commit 5724ff190b22bd04fcfd7287a39c6e5494e40f0b upstream.

For UTMI+ PHY, according to programming guide, first should be set
PMUACTV bit then STOPPCLK bit. Otherwise, when the device issues
Remote Wakeup, then host notices disconnect instead.
For ULPI PHY, above mentioned bits must be set in reversed order:
STOPPCLK then PMUACTV.

[ Upstream commit af076a41f8a28faf9ceb9dd2d88aef2c202ef39a ]

It is possible that the gadget will be disabled, while the udc is
suspended. When enabling the udc in that case, the clock gating
will not be enabled again. Leaving the phy unclocked. Even when the
udc is not enabled, connecting this powered but not clocked phy leads
to enumeration errors on the host side.

To ensure that the clock gating will be in an valid state, we ensure
that the clock gating will be enabled before stopping the udc.

timer_delete[_sync]() replaces del_timer[_sync](). Convert the whole tree
over and remove the historical wrapper inlines.

Conversion was done with coccinelle plus manual fixups where necessary.

According to the dt-bindings there are some platforms, which have a
dedicated USB power domain for DWC2 IP core supply. If the power domain
is switched off during system suspend then all USB register will lose
their settings.

Use GUSBCFG_TOUTCAL as a canary to detect that the power domain has
been powered off during suspend. Since the GOTGCTL_CURMODE_HOST doesn't
match on all platform with the current mode, additionally backup
GINTSTS. This works reliable to decide which registers should be
restored.

The DWC2 runtime PM code reuses similar patterns to backup and
restore the registers. So consolidate them in USB mode specific
variants. This also has the advantage it is reusable for further
PM improvements.

Special care is taken for DCFG register during device mode restore.

dwc2_restore_device_registers() use a single boolean
to decide about the register restoring behavior.
So replace this with a flags parameter, which can
be extended later.

hrtimer_setup() takes the callback function pointer as argument and
initializes the timer completely.

Replace hrtimer_init() and the open coded initialization of
hrtimer::function with the new setup mechanism.

Patch was created by using Coccinelle.

In dwc2_hsotg_udc_start(), e.g. when binding composite driver, "of_node"
is set to hsotg->dev->of_node.

It causes errors when binding the gadget driver several times, on
stm32mp157c-ev1 board. Below error is seen:
"pin PA10 already requested by 49000000.usb-otg; cannot claim for gadget.0"

The first time, no issue is seen as when registering the driver, of_node
isn't NULL:
-> gadget_dev_desc_UDC_store
  -> usb_gadget_register_driver_owner
    -> driver_register
    ...
      -> really_probe -> pinctrl_bind_pins (no effect)

Then dwc2_hsotg_udc_start() sets of_node.

The second time (stop the gadget, reconfigure it, then start it again),
of_node has been set, so the probing code tries to acquire pins for the
gadget. These pins are hold by the controller, hence the error.

So clear gadget.dev.of_node in udc_stop() routine to avoid the issue.

On Raspberry Pis without onboard USB hub frequent device reconnects
can trigger a interrupt storm after DWC2 entered host clock gating.
This is caused by a race between _dwc2_hcd_suspend() and the port
interrupt, which sets port_connect_status. The issue occurs if
port_connect_status is still 1, but there is no connection anymore:
