mlx5_mpesw_work() returned without calling complete() when
mlx5_lag_get_devcom_comp() returned NULL. A caller that queued the
work and waited on mpesww->comp would block indefinitely.
Funnel the early-return path through a new "complete" label so the
waiter is always woken.

On failure at index i, the reverse cleanup loop in
mlx5_lag_create_single_fdb() starts from i, so the failed index
itself is rolled back. That can operate on uninitialized state or
double-tear-down a rule the add_one path already self-rolled-back.
Start the rollback from i - 1 so only successfully-installed entries
are undone.

Add SOF_DAI_AMD_I2S DAI type for ACP7.B/7.F I2S/TDM interfaces.
Register the ACPTDM topology DAI name and map it to SOF_DAI_AMD_I2S;
IPC3 continues to parse ACP I2S link parameters through SOF_ACPI2S_TOKENS
(including the format token from the prior commit), not a new token
group named after ACPTDM. Add sof_link_acp_i2s_load() and the
SOF_DAI_AMD_I2S PCM dai link fixup path.

Add format field to sof_ipc_dai_acp_params for ACP I2S format selection.
Add SOF_TKN_AMD_ACPI2S_FORMAT (1703) to the existing SOF_ACPI2S_TOKENS
tuple and wire it into acpi2s_tokens[] so integrators continue using the
same ACPI2S token group as earlier ACP I2S topologies, not a separate
ACPTDM-specific token set.

Add sof_acp7x_post_fw_run_delay() to introduce a small delay after
firmware boot completion on resume to avoid DSP entering an
unrecoverable state.
Register it as post_fw_run callback only when the ACPI property
acp-sof-post_fw_run_delay is set, following the same pattern used
by the Vangogh platform.

The ACP7.B/7.F ACPI signed path already reads SizeFWSigned from the image
header into size_fw. Before adding ACP_IMAGE_HEADER_SIZE for SHA DMA,
reject payload size zero or any size_fw with size_fw > fw_bin_size -
ACP_IMAGE_HEADER_SIZE, so size_fw + ACP_IMAGE_HEADER_SIZE cannot exceed the
supplied firmware buffer.

ACP7.B/7.F signed images read SizeFWSigned from a fixed offset inside
the ACP header. Reject firmware buffers shorter than the header so we
never read past the end of the supplied image.

A few of the ROHM PMICs have a state-machine corrsponding to the SOC
power-states. Idea is that by changing the PMIC state, all power-outputs
will be switched to a pre-defined state. As an example, the SOC may use
a low-power state when system is suspended, and when transitioning from
the normal operation to suspend, the PMIC can be told to go to
SUSPEND-state - which will then switch outputs of all power-rails to
pre-defined low-power state matching the SOC expectation for SUSPEND.
In addition to the SUSPEND, there are a few other states as well.
The voltage values & enable / disable -states matching the SOC
expectations can be set for the PMIC states using
rohm,dvs-<state>-voltage -properties. It all started with the BD71837
supporting this, but over the years these same properties have been used
for a few other PMICs, and seems like this HW-state machine design is not
going away.
Copying the descriptions and types in each PMIC specific binding, and
discussing them during the reviews is getting tedious for the reviewers
and author(s) alike. Furthermore, having separate descriptions makes it
very easy to add errors, or differing, and even contradicting
documentation for properties with same name.
Avoid these issues by using one common file for the common ROHM PMIC
state-machine definitions and only referencing this from the individual
PMIC bindings.

Pull vfs fixes from Christian Brauner:
- netfs:
- fix the decision when to disallow write-streaming with fscache in
use, handling of asynchronous cache object creation, a double fput
in cachefiles, clearing S_KERNEL_FILE without the inode lock held,
page extraction bugs in the iov_iter helpers (a potential
underflow, a missing allocation failure check, a memory leak, and
a folio offset miscalculation), writeback error and ENOMEM
handling, DIO write retry for filesystems without a
->prepare_write() method, and the replacement of the wb_lock mutex
with a bit lock plus writethrough collection offload so that
multiple asynchronous writebacks don't interfere with each other.
- Fix the barriering when walking the netfs subrequest list during
retries as it was possible to see a subrequest that was just added
by the application thread.
- iomap:
- Change iomap to submit read bios after each extent instead of
building them up across extents. The old behavior was considered
problematic for a while and now caused an actual erofs bug.
- Guard the ioend io_size EOF trim in iomap against underflow when a
concurrent truncate moves EOF below the start of the ioend,
wrapping io_size to a huge value.
- overlayfs
- Fix a stale overlayfs comment about the locking order.
- Store the linked-in upper dentry instead of the disconnected
O_TMPFILE dentry during overlayfs tmpfile copy-up. With a FUSE or
virtiofs upper layer ->d_revalidate() would try to look up "/" in
the workdir and fail, causing persistent ESTALE errors that broke
dpkg and apt.
- vfs-bpf:
Have the bpf_real_data_inode() kfunc take a struct file instead of a
dentry so it is usable from the bprm_check_security, mmap_file, and
file_mprotect hooks, and rename it from bpf_real_inode() to make the
data-inode semantics explicit. The kfunc landed this cycle so the
change is safe.
- afs:
NULL pointer dereferences in the callback service and in
afs_get_tree(), several memory and refcount leaks, missing locking
around the dynamic root inode numbers and premature cell exposure
through /afs, a netns destruction hang caused by a misplaced
increment of net->cells_outstanding, a bulk lookup malfunction caused
by the dir_emit() API change, inode (re)initialisation issues, and
assorted smaller fixes to error codes, seqlock handling, and debug
output.
- vfs:
Refuse O_TMPFILE creation with an unmapped fsuid or fsgid and add a
selftest for it.
- vboxsf:
Add Jori Koolstra as vboxsf maintainer, taking over from Hans de
Goede.
- dio:
Release the pages attached to a short atomic dio bio; the REQ_ATOMIC
size check error path leaked them.
- procfs:
Only bump the parent directory link count when registering
directories in procfs. Registering regular files inflated the count
and leaked a link on every create and remove cycle.
- minix:
Avoid an unsigned overflow in the minix bitmap block count
calculation that let crafted images with huge inode or zone counts
pass superblock validation and crash the kernel during mount.
- cachefiles:
Fix a double unlock in the cachefiles nomem_d_alloc error path left
over from the start_creating() conversion.
- fat:
Stop fat from reading directory entries past the 0x00
end-of-directory marker. If the trailing on-disk slots aren't
zero-filled the driver surfaced arbitrary garbage as directory
entries.
- freexvfs:
Don't BUG() on unknown typed-extent types in freevxfs, reachable via
ioctl(FIBMAP) on a crafted image; fail with an I/O error instead.
- orangefs:
Keep the readdir entry size 64-bit in orangefs fill_from_part().
Truncating it to __u32 bypassed the bounds check and led to
out-of-bounds reads triggerable by the userspace client.
- xfs:
Fix the error unwind in xfs_open_devices() which released the rt
device file twice and left dangling buftarg pointers behind that were
freed again when the failed mount was torn down.
- exec:
Fix an off-by-one in the comment documenting the maximum binfmt
rewrite depth in exec_binprm(). The code allows five rewrites, not
four; restricting the code would break userspace so the comment is
fixed instead.
- file handles:
Reject detached mounts in capable_wrt_mount(). A detached mount can
be dissolved concurrently, leaving a NULL mount namespace that
open_by_handle_at() would dereference.

fanotify permission events are allocated with kmem_cache_alloc(), but
fanotify_alloc_perm_event() does not initialize watchdog_cnt.
The watchdog reads watchdog_cnt after the event is moved to access_list.
A stale value can make it warn too early or skip the warning.
Initialize watchdog_cnt when allocating a permission event.

Andrii reported an issue with optimized uprobes [1] that can clobber
redzone area with call instruction storing return address on stack
where user code may keep temporary data without adjusting rsp.
Fixing this by moving the optimized uprobes on top of 10-bytes nop
instruction, so we can squeeze another instruction to escape the
redzone area before doing the call, like:
lea -0x80(%rsp), %rsp

Note the lea instruction is used to adjust the rsp register without
changing the flags.
We use nop10 and following transformation to optimized instructions
above and back as suggested by Peterz [2].
Optimize path (int3_update_optimize):
1) Initial state after set_swbp() installed the uprobe:

From offset 0 this is INT3 followed by the tail of the original
10-byte NOP.
After a previous unoptimization bytes 5..9 may still contain the
old call instruction, which remains valid for threads already there.
2) Rewrite the LEA tail and call displacement:

From offset 0 this traps on the uprobe INT3. Bytes 1..9 are not
executable entry points while byte 0 is trapped.
3) Publish the first LEA byte:

Unoptimize path (int3_update_unoptimize):
1) Initial optimized state:

2) Trap new entries before restoring the NOP bytes:

From offset 0 this traps. A thread that had already executed the
LEA can still reach the intact CALL at offset 5.
3) Restore bytes 1..4 of the original NOP while keeping byte 0 trapped
and byte 5 as CALL.

From offset 0 this still traps. Offset 5 is still the CALL for any
thread that was already past the first LEA byte.
4) Publish the first byte of the original NOP:

From offset 0 this is the restored 10-byte NOP; the CALL opcode and
displacement are now only NOP operands. Offset 5 still decodes as
CALL for a thread that was already there.
Tthere is only a single target uprobe-trampoline for the given nop10
instruction address, so the CALL instruction will not be changed across
unoptimization/optimization cycles.
Therefore, any task that is preempted at the CALL instruction is guaranteed
to observe that CALL and not anything else.
Note as explained in [2] we need to use following nop10:

which means we need to allow 0x2e prefix which maps to INAT_PFX_CS
attribute in is_prefix_bad function.
Also changing the uprobe syscall error when called out of uprobe
trampoline to -EPROTO, so we are able to detect the fixed kernel.
The optimized uprobe performance stays the same:

When we do fork or clone without CLONE_VM the new process won't
have uprobe trampoline vma objects and at the same time it will
have optimized code calling that trampoline and crash.
Fixing this by allowing vma uprobe trampoline objects to be copied
on fork to the new process.

Removing struct uprobe_trampoline object and it's tracking code,
because it's not needed. We can do same thing directly on top of
struct vm_area_struct objects.
This makes the code simpler and allows easy propagation of the
trampoline vma object into child process in following change.
Note the original code called destroy_uprobe_trampoline if the
optimiation failed, but it only freed the struct uprobe_trampoline
object, not the vma. The new vma leak is fixed in following change.

Add READ_ONCE()/WRITE_ONCE() annotations on vlan->mode, vlan->flags,
vlan->bc_queue_len_req and port->bc_cutoff.
Fill IFLA_MACVLAN_MACADDR_DATA nested attribute and compute
on the fly the precise number of elements we put in it,
to fill an accurate IFLA_MACVLAN_MACADDR_COUNT attribute
as some user space applications could depend on its value
and the attributes order.

Queue wake, stop, and disable paths walk local->interfaces under RCU.
The bulk hardware teardown path removes entries with list_del(), so an
asynchronous transmit completion can follow a poisoned list node in
ieee802154_wake_queue().
Use list_del_rcu() as in the single-interface removal path. The following
unregister_netdevice() waits for in-flight RCU readers before freeing the
netdevice, so no separate grace-period wait is needed.

regcache_sync() can fail while replaying cached register state during
resume. max98390_resume() currently ignores that failure and returns
success.
Propagate the error and restore cache-only/dirty state on failure.

This is a followup based on sashiko comments [1] on commit e5b811fe7931
("net/sched: sch_teql: Introduce slaves_lock to avoid race condition and UAF")
Use plain rcu_read_lock()/spin_lock() in teql_master_xmit() instead of the
_bh variants, since ndo_start_xmit is already invoked with BH disabled
by the core stack and the _bh primitives can warn in_hardirq() when xmit
is reached through netpoll or a softirq xmit path with hard IRQs disabled.
Moves rcu_read_lock() after restart: label + adds rcu_read_unlock() before
goto restart (fixes the unbounded RCU hold across retries)

The runtime clock enable/disable sequencing is moved to PM clock helpers
for clocks described in device tree, while regcache state handling remains

explicit in the driver and lets runtime PM drop codec clock votes when the
macros are idle.
The series also keeps WSA MCLK-output clock registration resource-managed
by switching it to devm_clk_hw_register(), which allows the empty WSA remove

Convert the LPASS VA macro codec driver to runtime PM clock management by
using the PM clock framework.
Replace manual macro/dcodec/mclk/npl clock handling with PM clock helpers
and runtime PM callbacks, and keep runtime PM references around fsgen clock
gating so PM-clock-managed clocks remain active while fsgen is enabled.
Set autosuspend delay to 100 ms so PM-clock-managed votes are dropped soon
after idle while still avoiding suspend/resume churn on short gaps.
Add a PM_CLK dependency to SND_SOC_LPASS_VA_MACRO since this patch
introduces PM clock APIs.
Improve failure unwind paths: handle runtime PM put errors in probe/fsgen
paths and restore regcache state correctly on resume failure.

Convert the LPASS WSA macro codec driver to runtime PM clock management by
using the PM clock framework.

RedBoot FIS partition names are stored in a fixed 16-byte field that is
expected to be NUL-terminated. parse_redboot_partitions() used strlen()
to size the names area and later copied the same field with strcpy(), so
a malformed table entry without a terminator could make both operations
read beyond the descriptor.
Validate each accepted FIS name with strnlen() before adding it to the
partition list.

The uclinux MTD map driver is still actively used on ColdFire (m68k)
platforms. The ColdFire startup code in arch/m68k/coldfire/head.S copies
an attached filesystem blob to _bss_stop, and the uclinux driver picks
it up from there. Most ColdFire defconfigs enable CONFIG_MTD_UCLINUX, as
the driver seems to serve as a replacement for CONFIG_BLK_DEV_INITRD on
these non-MMU targets.
The driver was removed as part of a series cleaning up AMD Élan specific
drivers, but unlike the other three drivers in that series, this driver
seemed to not be as Élan specific (nor unused) as initially thought.

The S5PC110 OneNAND DMA helpers have bounded waits for transfer
completion. The polling helper falls out of its timeout loop and returns
success, and the IRQ helper ignores wait_for_completion_timeout().
Return -ETIMEDOUT when the DMA transfer-done bit or completion does not
arrive before the timeout so callers can treat the buffer transfer as
failed.

fsl_ifc_run_command() logs controller timeout and other non-OPC
completion states in ctrl->nand_stat. fsl_ifc_read_page() then only
increments the ECC failure counter for non-OPC status and still returns
max_bitflips, which can be zero.
Return -ETIMEDOUT when the command did not complete at all and -EIO for
other non-OPC read completions so the NAND core does not treat a failed
page read as a clean page.

The driver stores chip capacity information in both the OF match table
and the SPI id table. Probe currently uses of_device_get_match_data(),
so a non-OF SPI modalias match falls back to mchp23k256_caps even when
the SPI id table selected a different part.
Use spi_get_device_match_data() so SPI id-table driver_data is consumed
when OF match data is absent. This keeps the existing default fallback
while avoiding the wrong MTD geometry for id-table-only matches.

lpc32xx_xmit_dma() waits for the DMA completion callback but ignores
wait_for_completion_timeout(). A timed out DMA transfer is therefore
unmapped and reported as successful to the NAND read/write path.
Return -ETIMEDOUT when the completion wait expires. Terminate the DMA
channel before unmapping the scatterlist so the timed out transfer cannot
continue to access the buffer after the error is returned.
