Convert STMicroelectronics sdhci-st MMC/SD controller binding from
text format to YAML DT schema.
Changes during conversion:
- Preserve optional 'icn' clock and 'top-mmc-delay' register region
via minItems: 1 on their respective properties.
- Conditionally require reg-names when two reg entries are present
via an allOf if/then block, preventing silent runtime failure in
devm_platform_ioremap_resource_byname().
- Constrain max-frequency to enum [200000000, 100000000, 50000000]
with a default of 50000000, matching the driver's behaviour in
sdhci-st.c.

Runyu Xiao <runyu.xiao@seu.edu.cn> says:
Both cs35l33 and cs35l34 can enter runtime suspend while their threaded
IRQ handlers are still reachable. The suspend path then switches the
driver into regcache cache-only mode and powers the codec down, while
the IRQ thread still expects live status-register access.
This issue was found by our static analysis tool and manually audited on
Linux v6.18.21. Directed QEMU no-device validation further showed that,
after runtime_suspend() completed, the real threaded handlers could
still be injected and would continue past volatile regmap read failures
into their release/update paths.
This series keeps the fix on the suspend actor and applies the same
runtime-suspend/threaded-IRQ ordering repair boundary to both drivers:
- track whether request_threaded_irq() actually succeeded
- disable_irq() before cache_only/power-off in runtime suspend
- enable_irq() only after regcache_sync() in runtime resume
That drains any in-flight threaded handler and blocks new IRQ handling
while the codec is suspended, without mixing in larger IRQ-thread
defensive cleanups.
Build-tested by compiling cs35l33.o and cs35l34.o.
No cs35l33/cs35l34 hardware was available for end-to-end runtime
testing.

Praveen Talari <praveen.talari@oss.qualcomm.com> says:
The Qualcomm automotive SA8255p SoC relies on firmware to configure
platform resources, including clocks, interconnects and TLMM.
The driver requests resources operations over SCMI using power
and performance protocols.
The SCMI power protocol enables or disables resources like clocks,
interconnect paths, and TLMM (GPIOs) using runtime PM framework APIs,
such as resume/suspend, to control power states(on/off).
The SCMI performance protocol manages SPI frequency, with each
frequency rate represented by a performance level. The driver uses
geni_se_set_perf_opp() API to request the desired frequency rate.
As part of geni_se_set_perf_opp(), the OPP for the requested frequency
is obtained using dev_pm_opp_find_freq_floor() and the performance
level is set using dev_pm_opp_set_opp().

Add DT bindings for the QUP GENI SPI controller on sa8255p platform.
SA8255p platform abstracts resources such as clocks, interconnect and
GPIO pins configuration in Firmware. SCMI power and perf protocols are
utilized to request resource configurations.
SA8255p platform does not require the Serial Engine (SE) common properties
as the SE firmware is loaded and managed by the TrustZone (TZ) secure
environment.

On newer Qualcomm SoCs (starting with sc7280/kodiak), ICE is modelled
as a dedicated DT node. Add the optional qcom, ice phandle to reference
that node from the SDHCI controller.
When qcom, ice is present, disallow an embedded ICE register region in
the SDHCI node to avoid double modelling. Older SoCs without qcom, ice
remain valid.

Add DPLL_PIN_TYPE_INT_NCO pin type for virtual pins representing
the NCO mode of a DPLL. When connected as a DPLL input, the DPLL
enters NCO mode where the output frequency is adjusted by the host
via the PTP clock interface.
Update the fractional-frequency-offset and fractional-frequency-
offset-ppt attribute documentation to note that for INT_NCO pins
these attributes represent the DPLL's current output frequency

Add DPLL_PIN_CAPABILITIES_STATE_CONNECTED_OVERRIDE capability flag
that indicates a pin can be set to connected regardless of the
current DPLL device mode, overriding the active input selection.
This is useful for automatic-only DPLL devices where mode cannot
be switched to manual, allowing userspace to directly connect
such pin from automatic mode.
The capability requires STATE_CAN_CHANGE to be set as well;
dpll_pin_register() warns if a driver violates this.

AF_ALG is a frequent source of vulnerabilities and a maintenance
nightmare. It exposes far more functionality to userspace than ever
should have been exposed, especially to unprivileged processes. Recent
exploits have targeted kernel internal implementation details like
"authencesn" that have zero use case for userspace access.
Fortunately, AF_ALG is rarely used in practice, as userspace crypto
libraries exist. And when it is used, only some functionality is known
to be used, and many users are known to hold capabilities already.
iwd for example requires CAP_NET_ADMIN and has a known algorithm list
(https://lore.kernel.org/linux-crypto/bcbbef00-5881-421b-8892-7be6c04b832d@gmail.com/).
Thus, let's restrict the set of allowed algorithms by default, depending
on the capabilities held.
Add a sysctl /proc/sys/crypto/af_alg_restrict with meaning:
0: unrestricted
1: limited functionality
2: completely disabled
Set the default value to 1, which enables an algorithm allowlist for
unprivileged processes and a slightly longer allowlist for privileged
processes.
Note that the list may be tweaked in the future. However, the common
use cases such as iwd and bluez are taken into account already. I've
tested that iwd still works with the default value of 1.

The SEV-SNP firmware provides the SNP_VERIFY_MITIGATION command, which
can be used to query the status of currently supported vulnerability
mitigations and to initiate mitigations within the firmware.
This command is an explicit mechanism to ascertain if a firmware
mitigation is applied without needing a full RMP re-build, which is most
useful in a live firmware update scenario.
The firmware supports two subcommands: STATUS and VERIFY. The STATUS
subcommand is used to query the supported and verified mitigation bits.
The VERIFY subcommand initiates the mitigation process within the FW for
the specified vulnerability. Expose a userspace interface under:
/sys/firmware/sev/vulnerabilities/
- supported_mitigations (read-only): supported mitigation vector mask
- verified_mitigations (read/write): current verified mask; write a
vector to request VERIFY for that bit
The behavior of SNP_VERIFY_MITIGATION and the pre-requisites for using
it are bug-specific. Information about supported mitigations and its
corresponding vector is to be published as part of the AMD Security
Bulletin.
See SEV-SNP Firmware ABI specifications 1.58, SNP_VERIFY_MITIGATION for
more details.

A few of the ROHM PMICs have a state-machine corrsponding to the SOC
power-states. Idea is that by changing the PMIC state, all power-outputs
will be switched to a pre-defined state. As an example, the SOC may use
a low-power state when system is suspended, and when transitioning from
the normal operation to suspend, the PMIC can be told to go to
SUSPEND-state - which will then switch outputs of all power-rails to
pre-defined low-power state matching the SOC expectation for SUSPEND.
In addition to the SUSPEND, there are a few other states as well.
The voltage values & enable / disable -states matching the SOC
expectations can be set for the PMIC states using
rohm,dvs-<state>-voltage -properties. It all started with the BD71837
supporting this, but over the years these same properties have been used
for a few other PMICs, and seems like this HW-state machine design is not
going away.
Copying the descriptions and types in each PMIC specific binding, and
discussing them during the reviews is getting tedious for the reviewers
and author(s) alike. Furthermore, having separate descriptions makes it
very easy to add errors, or differing, and even contradicting
documentation for properties with same name.
Avoid these issues by using one common file for the common ROHM PMIC
state-machine definitions and only referencing this from the individual
PMIC bindings.

RTM_GETMULTICAST has been part of the rtnetlink ABI for a long time
and already reports IPv4 multicast group membership through
IFA_MULTICAST and IFA_CACHEINFO. It does not report how many consumers
hold each membership, so userspace still has to parse /proc/net/igmp to
get the Users column.
Add IFA_MC_USERS as a u32 attribute carrying ip_mc_list::users in
RTM_GETMULTICAST replies and entry-lifecycle notifications.
This gives iproute2 enough information to migrate the IPv4 part of
"ip maddr show" from procfs parsing to rtnetlink.

Pull VFIO fixes from Alex Williamson:
"Mostly straightforward fixes here, inconsistent runtime PM handling
due to global device policies, bitfield races, unwind path gaps,
teardown ordering, and a misplaced library flag.
- Fix racy bitfield updates in vfio-pci-core and the mlx5 vfio-pci
variant driver with a binary split between setup/release and
runtime modified flags. These were noted across several Sashiko
reviews as pre-existing issues (Alex Williamson)
- Fix runtime PM inconsistency where the vfio-pci driver module_init
could modify the idle PM policy of existing devices through globals
managed in vfio-pci-core, leading to unbalanced runtime PM
operations (Alex Williamson)
- Restore mutability of writable vfio-pci module options by further
pulling policy globals out of vfio-pci-core, to instead be latched
per device at device init. Provide visibility of the per device
latched values through debugfs (Alex Williamson)
- Fix missing VGA arbiter uninit callback in unwind path (Alex
Williamson)
- Reorder device debugfs removal before device_del() to avoid gap
where debugfs is available with stale devres pointers (Alex
Williamson)
- Move UUID library linking flag from vfio selftest Makefile into
libvfio.mk to avoid exposing such dependencies when linking with
KVM selftests (Sean Christopherson)"
* tag 'vfio-v7.2-rc2' of https://github.com/awilliam/linux-vfio:
vfio: selftests: Add luuid to libvfio.mk's list of libraries, not to the Makefile
vfio/pci: Expose latched module parameter policy in debugfs
vfio: Remove device debugfs before releasing devres
vfio/pci: Latch all module parameters per device
vfio/mlx5: Fix racy bitfields and tighten struct layout
vfio/pci: Fix racy bitfields and tighten struct layout
vfio/pci: Release the VGA arbiter client on register_device() failure
vfio/pci: Latch disable_idle_d3 per device

Binbin Zhou <zhoubinbin@loongson.cn> says:
This series adds ASoC support for the Loongson-2K0300 SoC and its
associated development boards, including the CTCISZ Forever Pi and the
ATK-DL2K0300B.
Key changes:
- Extend DT bindings to support ls2k0300-i2s and new audio card
compatibles.
- Refactor the platform I2S driver to handle SoC differences via per-device
configuration (rev_id, optional APB DMA config, reset sequence).
- Refactor the audio machine driver to support board-specific DAI formats,
GPIO-based headphone detection/control, speaker enable, and DAPM routing.
- Add jack detection and automatic switching between headphones and
speakers for the DL2K0300B board.
The patchset also cleans up the existing audio card binding by
referencing the common sound-card properties, and adds new compatibles
for the Loongson-2K0300 variants with proper DAI format handling.
All changes have been tested on Loongson-2K2000 (PCI), Loongson-2K0300
Forever Pi and Loongson-2K0300 DL2K0300B boards.

The only variant supported by the binding now, the DC8200 controller on
T-Head TH1520, requires three reset lines.
Add the reset properties to the required list to clarify this. The
in-tree th1520.dtsi file isn't affected by this change because the reset
lines are already populated there.
The driver still considers the resets optional, so if another variant
with no reset line appears, only the binding needs tweaking.

Add devicetree binding for the AMD/Xilinx Versal System Monitor (SysMon).
The Versal SysMon is the successor to the Zynq UltraScale+ AMS block,
providing on-chip voltage and temperature monitoring. The hardware
supports up to 160 supply voltage measurement points and up to 64
temperature satellites distributed across the SoC, with configurable
threshold alarms and oversampling. The device can be accessed via
memory-mapped I/O or via an I2C interface.
Supply and temperature channels are described as child nodes under
container nodes, referencing the standard adc.yaml binding for
channel properties.
