Pull parisc architecture updates from Helge Deller:

 - Drop PER_HPUX personality from UAPI headers

 - Infinite loop fix when parsing IRQ value in eisa code

 - Switch to use asm-generic/serial.h

 - Prevent possible unaligned asm code in head.S

asm/serial.h only redefines BASE_BAUD with the same value as
asm-generic/serial.h. Remove the arch-specific header and fall back to generic
implementation.

This has been scheduled for removal more than a decade ago and the comments
related to it have been dutifully ignored. The last dependencies are gone.

Remove it along with various now empty asm/timex.h files.

&lt;linux/mod_devicetable.h&gt; is included in a many files:

	$ git grep '&lt;linux/mod_devicetable.h&gt;' ef0c9f75a195 | wc -l
	1598

; some of them are widely used headers. To stop mixing up different and
unrelated driver( type)s let the subsystem headers only use the subset
of the recently split &lt;linux/mod_devicetable.h&gt; that are relevant for
them.

The fallout (I hope) is addressed in the previous commits that handle
sources relying on e.g. &lt;linux/i2c.h&gt; pulling in the full legacy header
and thus providing pci_device_id.

Currently &lt;linux/compiler.h&gt; isn't included at all (not even
transitively) in &lt;asm/ptrace.h&gt;.
arch/parisc/kernel/asm-offsets.c just happens to include the following
chain of includes before &lt;asm/ptrace.h&gt;:

	&lt;linux/sched.h&gt;
	-&gt; &lt;asm/processor.h&gt;
	-&gt; &lt;asm/hardware.h&gt;
	-&gt; &lt;linux/mod_devicetable.h&gt;
	-&gt; &lt;linux/uuid.h&gt;
	-&gt; &lt;linux/string.h&gt;
	-&gt; &lt;linux/compiler.h&gt;

. That chain will be broken, because in one of the next commits
&lt;asm/hardware.h&gt; is changed to only include &lt;linux/device-id/parisc.h&gt;
instead of &lt;linux/mod_devicetable.h&gt;. So to ensure
arch/parisc/kernel/asm-offsets.c knows about unlikely() even after that
change, #include &lt;linux/compiler.h&gt; explicitly.

The kernel allows arches to select between inline and outline
implementations of the copy_{from,to}_user() by defining individual
INLINE_COPY_FROM_USER and INLINE_COPY_TO_USER, correspondingly.  However,
all arches enable or disable them always together.

Without the real use-case for one helper being inlined while the other
outlined, having independent controls is excessive and error prone.

Switch the codebase to the single unified INLINE_COPY_USER control.

<title>ring-buffer: Flush and stop persistent ring buffer on panic</title>

On real hardware, panic and machine reboot may not flush hardware cache
to memory. This means the persistent ring buffer, which relies on a
coherent state of memory, may not have its events written to the buffer
and they may be lost. Moreover, there may be inconsistency with the
counters which are used for validation of the integrity of the
persistent ring buffer which may cause all data to be discarded.

To avoid this issue, stop recording of the ring buffer on panic and
flush the cache of the ring buffer's memory.
