Remove the ATM protocol modules and PCI/SBUS ATM device drivers
that are no longer in active use.

The ATM core protocol stack, PPPoATM, BR2684, and USB DSL modem
drivers (drivers/usb/atm/) are retained in-tree to maintain PPP
over ATM (PPPoA) and PPPoE-over-BR2684 support for DSL connections.
The Solos ADSL2+ PCI driver is also retained.

Removed ATM protocol modules:
 - net/atm/clip.c - Classical IP over ATM (RFC 2225)
 - net/atm/lec.c - LAN Emulation Client (LANE)
 - net/atm/mpc.c, mpoa_caches.c, mpoa_proc.c - Multi-Protocol Over ATM

Removed PCI/SBUS ATM device drivers (drivers/atm/):
 - adummy, atmtcp - software/testing ATM devices
 - eni - Efficient Networks ENI155P (OC-3, ~1995)
 - fore200e - FORE Systems 200E PCI/SBUS (OC-3, ~1999)
 - he - ForeRunner HE (OC-3/OC-12, ~2000)
 - idt77105 - IDT 77105 25 Mbps ATM PHY
 - idt77252 - IDT 77252 NICStAR II (OC-3, ~2000)
 - iphase - Interphase ATM PCI (OC-3/DS3/E3)
 - lanai - Efficient Networks Speedstream 3010
 - nicstar - IDT 77201 NICStAR (155/25 Mbps, ~1999)
 - suni - PMC S/UNI SONET PHY library

Also clean up references in:
 - net/bridge/ - remove ATM LANE hook (br_fdb_test_addr_hook,
   br_fdb_test_addr)
 - net/core/dev.c - remove br_fdb_test_addr_hook export
 - defconfig files - remove ATM driver config options

The removed code is moved to an out-of-tree module package (mod-orphan).

<title>Convert 'alloc_obj' family to use the new default GFP_KERNEL argument</title>

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\&lt;k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

<title>treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types</title>

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

syzbot reported the splat below. [0]

When atmtcp_v_open() or atmtcp_v_close() is called via connect()
or close(), atmtcp_send_control() is called to send an in-kernel
special message.

The message has ATMTCP_HDR_MAGIC in atmtcp_control.hdr.length.
Also, a pointer of struct atm_vcc is set to atmtcp_control.vcc.

The notable thing is struct atmtcp_control is uAPI but has a
space for an in-kernel pointer.

  struct atmtcp_control {
  	struct atmtcp_hdr hdr;	/* must be first */
  ...
  	atm_kptr_t vcc;		/* both directions */
  ...
  } __ATM_API_ALIGN;

  typedef struct { unsigned char _[8]; } __ATM_API_ALIGN atm_kptr_t;

The special message is processed in atmtcp_recv_control() called
from atmtcp_c_send().

atmtcp_c_send() is vcc-&gt;dev-&gt;ops-&gt;send() and called from 2 paths:

  1. .ndo_start_xmit() (vcc-&gt;send() == atm_send_aal0())
  2. vcc_sendmsg()

The problem is sendmsg() does not validate the message length and
userspace can abuse atmtcp_recv_control() to overwrite any kptr
by atmtcp_control.

Let's add a new -&gt;pre_send() hook to validate messages from sendmsg().

syzbot reported the splat below. [0]

vcc_sendmsg() copies data passed from userspace to skb and passes
it to vcc-&gt;dev-&gt;ops-&gt;send().

atmtcp_c_send() accesses skb-&gt;data as struct atmtcp_hdr after
checking if skb-&gt;len is 0, but it's not enough.

Also, when skb-&gt;len == 0, skb and sk (vcc) were leaked because
dev_kfree_skb() is not called and sk_wmem_alloc adjustment is missing
to revert atm_account_tx() in vcc_sendmsg(), which is expected
to be done in atm_pop_raw().

Let's properly free skb with an invalid length in atmtcp_c_send().

The only usage of atmtcp_v_dev_ops is to pass its address to
atm_dev_register() which takes a pointer to const, and comparing its
address to another address, which does not modify it. Make it const to
allow the compiler to put it in read-only memory.

atmtcp_remove_persistent() invokes atm_dev_lookup(), which returns a
reference of atm_dev with increased refcount or NULL if fails.

The refcount leaks issues occur in two error handling paths. If
dev_data-&gt;persist is zero or PRIV(dev)-&gt;vcc isn't NULL, the function
returns 0 without decreasing the refcount kept by a local variable,
resulting in refcount leaks.

Fix the issue by adding atm_dev_put() before returning 0 both when
dev_data-&gt;persist is zero or PRIV(dev)-&gt;vcc isn't NULL.

Add SPDX license identifiers to all files which:

 - Have no license information of any form

 - Have MODULE_LICENCE("GPL*") inside which was used in the initial
   scan/conversion to ignore the file

These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX
license identifier is:

  GPL-2.0-only

Make these structures const as they are either passed to the function
atm_dev_register having the corresponding argument as const or stored in
the ops field of a atm_dev structure, which is also const.
Done using Coccinelle.
