<title>net: Use helpers to get/set UDP len tree-wide</title>

Since BIG TCP for UDP tunnels will start using len=0 in the UDP header
as an indicator of a GSO packet bigger than 65535 bytes, this commit
introduces the following getter and setters to use tree-wide, in order
to explicitly mark places where len=0 may be expected, and handle them
properly:

1. udp_set_len() sets uh-&gt;len to its real value if it's not bigger than
65535, and to 0 otherwise: to be used in GSO context with aggregated
packets.

2. udp_set_len_short() is to be used when the length is known to fit 16
bits. It WARNs when the caller tries to assign a bigger value if
CONFIG_DEBUG_NET=y.

3. udp_get_len_short() returns len in host byte order: to be used on the
RX side to deal with non-aggregated packets, or to access the raw value
of the len field.

4. udp_get_len() decodes uh-&gt;len set by udp_set_len(). It checks whether
the packet is GSO to guard from malformed packets.

At the moment udp_set_len() is not used, a following commit will start
using it after enabling len&gt;65535 for GSO.

Raw uh-&gt;len (in network byte order) is still accessed in a few places
for checksum calculation purposes, and to decode len=0 in udpv6_rcv for
jumbograms. udp_rcv and udpv6_rcv will be addressed by the commit that
starts using udp_set_len() to set UDP len=0 for BIG TCP packets in UDP
tunnels.

With how this is currently written, we add the trailer, zero it out, and
then add the header space on. If that header space requires a
reallocation + copy, the zeros in the trailer aren't copied, because the
skb len hasn't actually been yet expanded to cover that. Instead add the
padding at the end of the process rather than at the beginning.

None of the udp_tunnel users need struct socket in their
fast paths; it is only used for tunnel setup / teardown.

Even setup_udp_tunnel_sock() does not need struct socket.

Let's change setup_udp_tunnel_sock() to take struct sock
instead of struct socket.

None of the udp_tunnel users need struct socket in their
fast paths; it is only used for tunnel setup / teardown.

While the UDP tunnel interface accepts struct socket, this
encourages users to store the pointer unnecessarily. This
leads to extra dereferences when accessing struct sock fields
(e.g., sk-&gt;sk_user_data instead of sock-&gt;sk-&gt;sk_user_data).

Furthermore, these dereferences necessitate synchronize_rcu()
in udp_tunnel_sock_release() to protect the fast paths from
sock_orphan() setting sk-&gt;sk_socket to NULL.

This overhead can be avoided if users store the struct sock
pointer directly in their private structures.

As a prep, let's change udp_tunnel_sock_release() to take
struct sock instead of struct socket.

<title>wireguard: device: use exit_rtnl callback instead of manual rtnl_lock in pre_exit</title>

wg_netns_pre_exit() manually acquires rtnl_lock() inside the
pernet .pre_exit callback. This causes a hung task when another
thread holds rtnl_mutex - the cleanup_net workqueue (or the
setup_net failure rollback path) blocks indefinitely in
wg_netns_pre_exit() waiting to acquire the lock.

Convert to .exit_rtnl, introduced in commit 7a60d91c690b ("net:
Add -&gt;exit_rtnl() hook to struct pernet_operations."), where the
framework already holds RTNL and batches all callbacks under a
single rtnl_lock()/rtnl_unlock() pair, eliminating the contention
window.

The rcu_assign_pointer(wg-&gt;creating_net, NULL) is safe to move
from .pre_exit to .exit_rtnl (which runs after synchronize_rcu())
because all RCU readers of creating_net either use maybe_get_net()
- which returns NULL for a dying namespace with zero refcount - or
access net-&gt;user_ns which remains valid throughout the entire
ops_undo_list sequence.

As IPv6 is built-in only, the ipv6_stub infrastructure is no longer
necessary.

Convert all drivers currently utilizing ipv6_stub to make direct
function calls. The fallback functions introduced previously will
prevent linkage errors when CONFIG_IPV6 is disabled.

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\&lt;k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.
