Remove the ATM protocol modules and PCI/SBUS ATM device drivers
that are no longer in active use.

The ATM core protocol stack, PPPoATM, BR2684, and USB DSL modem
drivers (drivers/usb/atm/) are retained in-tree to maintain PPP
over ATM (PPPoA) and PPPoE-over-BR2684 support for DSL connections.
The Solos ADSL2+ PCI driver is also retained.

Removed ATM protocol modules:
 - net/atm/clip.c - Classical IP over ATM (RFC 2225)
 - net/atm/lec.c - LAN Emulation Client (LANE)
 - net/atm/mpc.c, mpoa_caches.c, mpoa_proc.c - Multi-Protocol Over ATM

Removed PCI/SBUS ATM device drivers (drivers/atm/):
 - adummy, atmtcp - software/testing ATM devices
 - eni - Efficient Networks ENI155P (OC-3, ~1995)
 - fore200e - FORE Systems 200E PCI/SBUS (OC-3, ~1999)
 - he - ForeRunner HE (OC-3/OC-12, ~2000)
 - idt77105 - IDT 77105 25 Mbps ATM PHY
 - idt77252 - IDT 77252 NICStAR II (OC-3, ~2000)
 - iphase - Interphase ATM PCI (OC-3/DS3/E3)
 - lanai - Efficient Networks Speedstream 3010
 - nicstar - IDT 77201 NICStAR (155/25 Mbps, ~1999)
 - suni - PMC S/UNI SONET PHY library

Also clean up references in:
 - net/bridge/ - remove ATM LANE hook (br_fdb_test_addr_hook,
   br_fdb_test_addr)
 - net/core/dev.c - remove br_fdb_test_addr_hook export
 - defconfig files - remove ATM driver config options

The removed code is moved to an out-of-tree module package (mod-orphan).

<title>atm: lec: fix use-after-free in sock_def_readable()</title>

<id>urn:sha1:922814879542c2e397b0e9641fd36b8202a8e555</id>
<content type='text'>
A race condition exists between lec_atm_close() setting priv-&gt;lecd
to NULL and concurrent access to priv-&gt;lecd in send_to_lecd(),
lec_handle_bridge(), and lec_atm_send(). When the socket is freed
via RCU while another thread is still using it, a use-after-free
occurs in sock_def_readable() when accessing the socket's wait queue.

The root cause is that lec_atm_close() clears priv-&gt;lecd without
any synchronization, while callers dereference priv-&gt;lecd without
any protection against concurrent teardown.

Fix this by converting priv-&gt;lecd to an RCU-protected pointer:
- Mark priv-&gt;lecd as __rcu in lec.h
- Use rcu_assign_pointer() in lec_atm_close() and lecd_attach()
  for safe pointer assignment
- Use rcu_access_pointer() for NULL checks that do not dereference
  the pointer in lec_start_xmit(), lec_push(), send_to_lecd() and
  lecd_attach()
- Use rcu_read_lock/rcu_dereference/rcu_read_unlock in send_to_lecd(),
  lec_handle_bridge() and lec_atm_send() to safely access lecd
- Use rcu_assign_pointer() followed by synchronize_rcu() in
  lec_atm_close() to ensure all readers have completed before
  proceeding. This is safe since lec_atm_close() is called from
  vcc_release() which holds lock_sock(), a sleeping lock.
- Remove the manual sk_receive_queue drain from lec_atm_close()
  since vcc_destroy_socket() already drains it after lec_atm_close()
  returns.

v2: Switch from spinlock + sock_hold/put approach to RCU to properly
    fix the race. The v1 spinlock approach had two issues pointed out
    by Eric Dumazet:
    1. priv-&gt;lecd was still accessed directly after releasing the
       lock instead of using a local copy.
    2. The spinlock did not prevent packets being queued after
       lec_atm_close() drains sk_receive_queue since timer and
       workqueue paths bypass netif_stop_queue().

Note: Syzbot patch testing was attempted but the test VM terminated
    unexpectedly with "Connection to localhost closed by remote host",
    likely due to a QEMU AHCI emulation issue unrelated to this fix.
    Compile testing with "make W=1 net/atm/lec.o" passes cleanly.

<id>urn:sha1:101bacb303e89dc2e0640ae6a5e0fb97c4eb45bb</id>
<content type='text'>
syzkaller reported a null-ptr-deref in lec_arp_clear_vccs().
This issue can be easily reproduced using the syzkaller reproducer.

In the ATM LANE (LAN Emulation) module, the same atm_vcc can be shared by
multiple lec_arp_table entries (e.g., via entry-&gt;vcc or entry-&gt;recv_vcc).
When the underlying VCC is closed, lec_vcc_close() iterates over all
ARP entries and calls lec_arp_clear_vccs() for each matched entry.

For example, when lec_vcc_close() iterates through the hlists in
priv-&gt;lec_arp_empty_ones or other ARP tables:

1. In the first iteration, for the first matched ARP entry sharing the VCC,
lec_arp_clear_vccs() frees the associated vpriv (which is vcc-&gt;user_back)
and sets vcc-&gt;user_back to NULL.
2. In the second iteration, for the next matched ARP entry sharing the same
VCC, lec_arp_clear_vccs() is called again. It obtains a NULL vpriv from
vcc-&gt;user_back (via LEC_VCC_PRIV(vcc)) and then attempts to dereference it
via `vcc-&gt;pop = vpriv-&gt;old_pop`, leading to a null-ptr-deref crash.

Fix this by adding a null check for vpriv before dereferencing
it. If vpriv is already NULL, it means the VCC has been cleared
by a previous call, so we can safely skip the cleanup and just
clear the entry's vcc/recv_vcc pointers.

The entire cleanup block (including vcc_release_async()) is placed inside
the vpriv guard because a NULL vpriv indicates the VCC has already been
fully released by a prior iteration — repeating the teardown would
redundantly set flags and trigger callbacks on an already-closing socket.

The Fixes tag points to the initial commit because the entry-&gt;vcc path has
been vulnerable since the original code. The entry-&gt;recv_vcc path was later
added by commit 8d9f73c0ad2f ("atm: fix a memory leak of vcc-&gt;user_back")
with the same pattern, and both paths are fixed here.

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\&lt;k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

/proc/net/atm/lec must ensure safety against dev_lec[] changes.

It appears it had dev_put() calls without prior dev_hold(),
leading to imbalance and UAF.

syzbot found its way in net/atm/lec.c, and found an error path
in lecd_attach() could leave a dangling pointer in dev_lec[].

Add a mutex to protect dev_lecp[] uses from lecd_attach(),
lec_vcc_attach() and lec_mcast_attach().

Following patch will use this mutex for /proc/net/atm/lec.
