Core specification (Part C vol 4 sec 5.4.5) does not exclude empty
ISO_CONT, ISO_END packets. We currently reject them if they are last.

If controller sends malformed sequence

    ISO_START -&gt; rx_len = 4, ISO_CONT skb-&gt;len 4, ISO_START

that ends payload in ISO_CONT, we leak conn-&gt;rx_skb. If controller sends
too long ISO_END, we panic on skb_put. If controller sends too short
ISO_END we accept it.

Fix by marking unfinished ISO_START via conn-&gt;rx_skb != NULL. Check
skb-&gt;len properly before skb_put. Combine the ISO_CONT/END code paths
as they require the same initial checks. Reject too short ISO_END
packets.

<title>Bluetooth: ISO: avoid NULL deref of conn in iso_conn_big_sync()</title>

iso_conn_big_sync() drops the socket lock to call hci_get_route() and
then re-acquires it, but dereferences iso_pi(sk)-&gt;conn-&gt;hcon afterwards
without re-checking that conn is still valid.

While the lock is dropped, the connection can be torn down under the
same socket lock: iso_disconn_cfm() -&gt; iso_conn_del() -&gt; iso_chan_del()
sets iso_pi(sk)-&gt;conn to NULL (and the broadcast teardown path can also
clear conn-&gt;hcon on its own). When iso_conn_big_sync() re-acquires the
lock and reads conn-&gt;hcon, conn may be NULL, causing a NULL pointer
dereference (hcon is the first member of struct iso_conn).

This path is reached from iso_sock_recvmsg() for a PA-sync broadcast
sink socket (BT_SK_DEFER_SETUP | BT_SK_PA_SYNC), so the dropped-lock
window can race with connection teardown driven by controller events.

Re-validate iso_pi(sk)-&gt;conn and its hcon after re-acquiring the socket
lock and bail out if the connection went away, as already done in the
sibling iso_sock_rebind_bc().

Convert ISO socket's getsockopt implementation to use the new
getsockopt_iter callback with sockopt_t.

Key changes:
- Replace (char __user *optval, int __user *optlen) with sockopt_t *opt
- Use opt-&gt;optlen for buffer length (input) and returned size (output)
- Use copy_to_iter() instead of put_user()/copy_to_user()
- Add linux/uio.h for copy_to_iter()

iso_connect_bis(), iso_connect_cis(), iso_listen_bis(), and
iso_conn_big_sync() call hci_get_route() using iso_pi(sk)-&gt;dst,
iso_pi(sk)-&gt;src, and iso_pi(sk)-&gt;src_type without holding lock_sock().

These fields may be modified concurrently by connect() or setsockopt()
on the same socket, resulting in data-races reported by KCSAN.

Fix this by snapshotting the required fields under lock_sock() before
calling hci_get_route().

In iso_sock_rebind_bc(), the bis pointer is cached, then the socket lock is
dropped:
	bis = iso_pi(sk)-&gt;conn-&gt;hcon;
	/* Release the socket before lookups since that requires hci_dev_lock
	 * which shall not be acquired while holding sock_lock for proper
	 * ordering.
	 */
	release_sock(sk);
	hci_dev_lock(bis-&gt;hdev);

During the unlocked window, could a concurrent close() destroy the connection
and free the bis structure, causing hci_dev_lock(bis-&gt;hdev) to access memory
after it is freed, fix this by using the hdev reference which was safely
acquired via iso_conn_get_hdev().

iso_sock_close() calls iso_sock_clear_timer() before acquiring
lock_sock(sk).

iso_sock_clear_timer() reads iso_pi(sk)-&gt;conn twice without the
socket lock held:

    if (!iso_pi(sk)-&gt;conn)
        return;
    cancel_delayed_work(&amp;iso_pi(sk)-&gt;conn-&gt;timeout_work);

Concurrently, iso_conn_del() executes under lock_sock(sk) and calls
iso_chan_del(), which sets iso_pi(sk)-&gt;conn to NULL and may result in
the final reference to the connection being dropped:

    CPU0                         CPU1
    ----                         ----
    iso_sock_clear_timer()
      if (conn != NULL) ...      lock_sock(sk)
                                   iso_chan_del()
                                   iso_pi(sk)-&gt;conn = NULL
      cancel_delayed_work(conn)  /* NULL deref or UAF */

iso_pi(sk)-&gt;conn is not stable across the unlock window, causing a
NULL pointer dereference or use-after-free.

Serialize iso_sock_clear_timer() with the socket lock by moving it
inside lock_sock()/release_sock(), matching the pattern used in
iso_conn_del() and all other call sites.

iso_recv_frame reads conn-&gt;sk under iso_conn_lock but releases the lock
before using sk, with no reference held. A concurrent iso_sock_kill()
can free sk in that window, causing use-after-free on sk-&gt;sk_state and
sock_queue_rcv_skb().

Fix by replacing the bare pointer read with iso_sock_hold(conn), which
calls sock_hold() while the spinlock is held, atomically elevating the
refcount before the lock drops. Add a drop_put label so sock_put() is
called on all exit paths where the hold succeeded.

<title>Bluetooth: fix UAF in l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen() vs l2cap_conn_del()</title>

bt_accept_dequeue() unlinks a not-yet-accepted child from the parent
accept queue and release_sock()s it before returning, so the returned
sk has no caller reference and is unlocked.

l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen() walks these children on listening-socket
close.  A concurrent HCI disconnect drives hci_rx_work -&gt;
l2cap_conn_del() which runs l2cap_chan_del() + l2cap_sock_kill() and
frees the child sk and its l2cap_chan; cleanup_listen() then uses both:

  BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in l2cap_sock_kill
    l2cap_sock_kill / l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen / __x64_sys_close
  Freed by: l2cap_conn_del -&gt; l2cap_sock_close_cb -&gt; l2cap_sock_kill

This is distinct from the two fixes already in this area: commit
e83f5e24da741 ("Bluetooth: serialize accept_q access") serialises the
accept_q list/poll and takes temporary refs inside bt_accept_dequeue(),
and CVE-2025-39860 serialises the userspace close()/accept() race by
calling cleanup_listen() under lock_sock() in l2cap_sock_release().
Neither covers l2cap_conn_del() running from hci_rx_work, so this UAF
still reproduces on current bluetooth/master.

Take the reference at the source: bt_accept_dequeue() does sock_hold()
while sk is still locked, before release_sock(); callers sock_put().
cleanup_listen() pins the chan with l2cap_chan_hold_unless_zero() under
a brief child sk lock (serialising vs l2cap_sock_teardown_cb()), drops
it before l2cap_chan_lock(), and skips a duplicate l2cap_sock_kill() on
SOCK_DEAD. conn-&gt;lock is not taken here: cleanup_listen() runs under
the parent sk lock and that would invert
conn-&gt;lock -&gt; chan-&gt;lock -&gt; sk_lock (lockdep).

KASAN/SMP: an unprivileged listen/close vs HCI-disconnect race produced
12 use-after-free reports per run before this change; 0, and no lockdep
report, over 1600+ raced iterations after it on bluetooth/master.

ISO data PDUs carry a packet-boundary flag indicating START, CONT, END
or SINGLE. The ISO_CONT branch of iso_recv() guards against a missing
ISO_START by checking conn-&gt;rx_len before touching conn-&gt;rx_skb, but
ISO_END does not.

If a peer sends an ISO_END as the first packet on a fresh ISO
connection, conn-&gt;rx_skb is still NULL and conn-&gt;rx_len is zero, so
skb_put(conn-&gt;rx_skb, ...) dereferences NULL and oopses. For BIS,
where receivers sync to a broadcaster without pairing, any broadcaster
on the air can trigger this.

Mirror the ISO_CONT check at the top of ISO_END so a stray end fragment
is logged and dropped instead of crashing the host.
