The AD3532R/AD3532 is a 16-channel, 16-bit voltage output DAC. It shares
similar functionality with AD3530R but splits its registers into two
banks: bank 0 at 0x10xx for channels 0-7 and bank 1 at 0x30xx for
channels 8-15. The input, LDAC trigger and operating-mode registers are
therefore selected per bank.
Add the AD3532R register map, channel specs, per-bank register arrays, a
dedicated powerdown handler and its own regmap_config, reusing the
table-driven helpers for the shared configuration steps.

Devices with a larger register map need their own regmap_config so
debugfs register access stays within each device's address range.
Move the config into the chip_info table and let probe pass the per-chip
config. All current devices share the same config, so no functional
change.

Devices with a multi-bank register map repeat the same configuration
across several banks, which the hardcoded register addresses in
ad3530r_setup() cannot cover.
Move the addresses into per-chip arrays and add ad3530r_set_reg_bank_bits()
and ad3530r_write_reg_banks() to apply an operation to every bank. Each
current device has a single bank, so no functional change.

The software LDAC trigger register is stored in the chip_info table as a
fixed register address. Devices with a multi-bank register architecture
select the trigger register based on the channel being updated, which a
single static address cannot express.
Convert sw_ldac_trig_reg into a function pointer that returns the
trigger register for a given channel, mirroring the input_ch_reg
callback.

The driver has a match table for the usb bus wired into its driver
structure, but the table is not exported with MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE().
Add the missing MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE() entry so module alias information
is generated for automatic module loading.

al3010_scales[] encodes the highest gain range as {0, 1187200}.
For IIO_VAL_INT_PLUS_MICRO, the fractional part must be less than
1000000, so the scale 1.1872 should instead be represented as
{ 1, 187200 }.
Since write_raw() compares the value from userspace against this
table, writing the advertised 1.1872 scale never matches the malformed
entry and returns -EINVAL. As a result, the highest gain range cannot
be selected. Reading the scale in that state also reports the malformed
value.

The original code was using ndelay() twice. In one case the delay
is calculated as 1/3 of ADC clock and in the other as 80 ADC clocks.
But according to the comments in all cases it should be a multiplier
of the ADC clock, and not a fraction of it. Inadvertently
nxp_sar_adc_wait_for() takes the wrong case and spread it over
the code make it wrong in all places. Fix this by modifying a helper
to correctly use the multiplier.

When devm_request_threaded_irq() fails, probe logs the error and
then returns -EINVAL, dropping the real error code and breaking the
deferred-probe flow for -EPROBE_DEFER.
Return ret directly; the IRQ subsystem already prints on failure.

Timestamps are made by measuring the chip clock using the watermark
interrupts. If we read more than watermark samples as done today, we
are reducing the period between interrupts and distort the time
measurement. Fix that by reading only watermark samples in the
interrupt case.

Making [parts of] the heap executable is dangerous and is blocked by
SELinux on Fedora/RHEL even for an unconfined user. Replace the malloc()
+ mprotect() combo with just mmap(), creating a private anonymous rwx
mapping, which only requires the more commonly allowed "execmem"
permission under SELinux (things like JIT or regex compilation need it
as well). mmap() with MAP_ANONYMOUS will give us a zeroed mapping that
begins on a page boundary, so the result is equivalent to the original
code even without a memset() or the page-alignment dance.
Verified that the test still passes on a machine with an AMD CPU that
has the "ibs" CPU flag.

The amd_uncore driver currently does not validate event groups and
allows creation of groups with more events than the number of available
hardware counters. Because of this, pmu->event_init() succeeds but
counter assignment fails later in pmu->add() which returns -EBUSY once
all counters are exhausted.
Address this by introducing group validation in the pmu->event_init()
path. Since the uncore PMUs have no per-event constraints and all
counters of a PMU are interchangeable, validation is reduced to just
counting the group members that target a PMU and ensuring that they fit
within the available set of counters.

The uprobe nop5 optimization used to replace a 5-byte NOP with a 5-byte
CALL to a trampoline. The CALL pushes a return address onto the stack at
[rsp-8], clobbering whatever was stored there.
On x86-64, the red zone is the 128 bytes below rsp that user code may use
for temporary storage without adjusting rsp. Compilers can place USDT
argument operands there, generating specs like "8@-8(%rbp)" when rbp ==
rsp. With the CALL-based optimization, the return address overwrites that
argument before the BPF-side USDT argument fetch runs.
Add two tests for this case. The uprobe_syscall subtest stores known values
at -8(%rsp), -16(%rsp), and -24(%rsp), executes an optimized nop10 uprobe,
and verifies the red-zone data is still intact. The USDT subtest triggers a
probe in a function where the compiler places three USDT operands in the
red zone and verifies that all 10 optimized invocations deliver the expected
argument values to BPF.
On an unfixed kernel, the first hit goes through the INT3 path and later
hits use the optimized CALL path, so the red-zone checks fail after
optimization.

In rocket_job_run(), after taking an extra fence reference for
job->done_fence via dma_fence_get(), the error paths have three bugs:
- The dma_fence reference held by job->done_fence is never released,
causing a reference leak.
- pm_runtime_get_sync() increments the usage counter even on failure,
but the error path does not decrement it, leaking the runtime PM
reference and preventing the NPU from suspending.
- A valid but unsignaled fence is returned to the DRM scheduler,
which triggers WARN("Fence ... released with pending signals!")
when the scheduler drops its reference.
Fix by replacing pm_runtime_get_sync() with pm_runtime_resume_and_get()
which auto-balances the usage counter on failure, releasing both fence
references on error, and returning ERR_PTR(ret) instead of the
unsignaled fence.

rocket_job_push() allocates a temporary array to hold all input and
output GEM object pointers:
bos = kvmalloc_array(job->in_bo_count + job->out_bo_count,
sizeof(void *), GFP_KERNEL);
memcpy(bos, job->in_bos, job->in_bo_count * sizeof(void *));
memcpy(&bos[job->in_bo_count], job->out_bos, ...);
Two bugs exist:
1. Missing NULL check: if kvmalloc_array() fails, bos is NULL and
the subsequent memcpy() dereferences it, causing a kernel NULL
pointer dereference.
2. Integer overflow: in_bo_count and out_bo_count are both u32, set
directly from userspace-supplied in_bo_handle_count and
out_bo_handle_count with no prior validation. Their sum is computed
in u32 arithmetic and can wrap to a smaller value, causing the
allocation count passed to kvmalloc_array() to be smaller than
intended. Subsequent uses still operate on the original counts when
copying and locking objects, which may lead to out-of-bounds accesses
on the temporary array.
Fix by using check_add_overflow() to detect count overflow before the
allocation, and adding a NULL check on the allocation result.

rocket_ioctl_submit_job() releases rjob through rocket_job_put() on
allocation error paths. rocket_job_cleanup() unconditionally calls
rocket_iommu_domain_put(job->domain), but job->domain is assigned only
after task copying and BO lookups. A failure before that assignment can
therefore clean up a job with a NULL domain pointer.
Take the per-file domain reference before the first error path can release
rjob. Also clear rjob->tasks after freeing it in rocket_copy_tasks(), so
the common cleanup path cannot free the task array again after a task-copy
error.

w1_f19_i2c_master_transfer() is the master_xfer for the DS28E17 1-Wire
to I2C bridge. On an I2C_M_RECV_LEN read, it takes the length from the
device. The downstream slave puts a length byte in buf[0]. The driver
then reads that many bytes into buf[1] with w1_f19_i2c_read().
buf[0] is controlled by the device and can be 0 to 255.
w1_f19_i2c_read() only rejects a zero count. The caller buffer is
I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX + 2, so 34 bytes. A length above 32 makes the read
run past it, up to about 222 bytes out of bounds.
The SMBus core does check buf[0] against I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX. That
check runs after master_xfer returns. By then the write is already
done. i2c-algo-bit rejects an oversize length before it copies, and
returns -EPROTO.
Reject a length above I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX at both RECV_LEN sites, the
same way i2c-algo-bit does.

Convert the Texas Instruments OMAP HDQ One Wire bindings to DT schema.
During the conversion, several updates were made to reflect actual hardware
usage and resolve dtbs_check warnings:
- 'ti,hwmods' has been made optional.
- Added 'clocks' and 'clock-names' properties as they are used in actual
device trees (e.g., am437x-l4.dtsi).
- Added a second example for the AM4372 HDQ controller to demonstrate
the clock and interrupt configuration.

Pull smb server fixes from Steve French:
- Fix several use-after-free races in durable handle reconnect,
supersede, and oplock handling
- Avoid holding the inode oplock lock while waiting for a lease break
acknowledgement. This removes delays of up to 35 seconds when cifs.ko
closes a deferred handle in response to a lease break
- Fix malformed security descriptor handling, including an undersized
DACL allocation issue and an out-of-bounds ACE SID read
- Fix memory leaks in security descriptor and DOS attribute xattr
encoding/decoding error paths

Add a CoreSight shell test for synthesized callchains.
The test uses the new callchain workload to generate trace and decodes
it with synthesis callchain. It then verifies that the instruction
samples show the expected callchain push and pop.
Use control FIFOs so tracing starts only around the workload, which
keeps the trace data small. The test is limited to with the cs_etm
event available and root permission.

CS ETM already records branches into the thread stack, but instruction
samples do not carry synthesized callchains. It misses to support the
callchain and no output with the itrace option 'g'.
Allocate a callchain buffer per queue and use thread_stack__sample()
when synthesizing instruction samples.
Advertise PERF_SAMPLE_CALLCHAIN on the synthetic instruction event.
Allocate one extra callchain entry than requested, as the first entry
is reserved for storing context information.
cs_etm__context() is introduced for handling context packet and update
the thread info and start kernel address for frontend decoding.

The perf script callindent is derived from call stack in thread context,
CS ETM ignores the requirement for callindent without pushing and poping
call stack.
Enable thread-stack when either itrace thread-stack support or last branch
entries are requested, allocate the branch stack storage accordingly, and
feed taken branches to thread_stack__event() whenever thread-stack state
is needed.
When callindent is requested, pass callstack=true to thread_stack__event()
so the common thread-stack code maintains call depth for branch samples.

Perf resets the CoreSight decoder when moving to a new AUX trace buffer,
this causes trace discontinunity globally.
For callchain synthesis, keeping thread-stack state after decoder reset
can leave stale call/return history attached to threads that are decoded
later, producing incorrect synthesized callchains.
Flush all host thread stacks after a decoder reset. When virtualization
is present, flush the guest thread stacks as well.

CS ETM maintains its own circular array for last branch entries, with
local helpers to update, copy and reset the branch stack. This
duplicates logic already provided by the common code.
Record taken branches with thread_stack__event() and synthesize
PERF_SAMPLE_BRANCH_STACK data with thread_stack__br_sample(). This
removes the private last_branch_rb buffer and its position tracking.
This also makes the branch history state belong to the thread rather
than the trace queue. That is a better fit for CoreSight traces where
a trace queue can effectively be CPU scoped, while call/return history
is per thread.
Keep the buffer number updated via thread_stack__set_trace_nr(), which
is used when exporting samples to Python scripts. Pass callstack=false
for now; synthesized callchains are added by a later patch.
The output should remain same, except that be->flags.predicted is no
longer set. Since CoreSight trace does not provide branch prediction
information, clearing the flag avoids confusion.

This patch introduces a new function cs_etm__instr_size() to calculate
the instruction size based on ISA type and instruction address.
Given the trace data can be MB and most likely that will be A64/A32 on
a lot of platforms, cs_etm__instr_addr() keeps a single ISA type check
for A64/A32 and executes an optimized calculation (addr + offset * 4).

ETE shares the same packet format as ETMv4, but exception decoding
handled ETMv4 packets only. As a result, ETE exception packets were
not classified.
Recognize the ETE magic for exception number decoding.

The itrace 'c' and 'r' options request synthesized branch events for
calls and returns only. For perf script the default itrace options are
"--itrace=ce", so CS ETM should emit call branches and error events by
default.
CS ETM currently synthesizes a branch sample for every decoded taken
branch whenever branch synthesis is enabled. This produces redundant
jump and conditional branch samples.
Add a branch filter derived from the itrace calls and returns options.
When neither option is set, keep the existing behavior and synthesize all
branch samples. When calls or returns are requested, emit only branch
samples whose flags match the selected branch type, while preserving trace
begin/end markers.
Also update test_arm_coresight_disasm.sh and arm-cs-trace-disasm.py
to use the --itrace=b option for generating branch samples.

cs_etm__init_traceid_queue() allocates the frontend and decode threads,
if a later allocation fails, the error path does not drop thread
reference that was already acquired.
Release both thread pointers with thread__zput() on the error path, so
does not leak thread references or leave stale pointers behind.

Once ads1015_probe() gets past ads1015_set_conv_mode(CONTINUOUS), two
resources leak on its error paths and on driver unbind:
- pm_runtime_enable() is left enabled if iio_device_register() fails;
on subsequent probe/rebind the runtime PM tracking complains about
an unbalanced enable.
- The CONTINUOUS conversion mode written to the chip is never restored
on any error path after that point, so on probe failure the chip is
left running.
Convert all three teardown operations of ads1015_remove() to devm so
that the error paths and the unbind path share the same unwind in
reverse-of-setup order:
- ads1015_set_conv_mode(SINGLESHOT) becomes a devm action registered
immediately after CONTINUOUS mode is enabled.
- pm_runtime_enable() becomes devm_pm_runtime_enable().
- iio_device_register() becomes devm_iio_device_register(), so the
iio device is unregistered first on unbind.
ads1015_remove() is no longer needed and is dropped.

bm1390_trigger_handler() returns from three error paths without calling
iio_trigger_notify_done(). The success path at the end does, so on a
transient regmap or read failure the trigger's use_count is never
decremented and iio_trigger_poll_chained() drops subsequent dispatches
until the trigger is reattached.
This is not a fix for a reported bug, only hardening against hardware
or bus glitches; if a glitch is persistent the device is wedged and
needs an unbind anyway, which is left to the user.
Split the function so the inner helper returns bool with the data-read
outcome, and the outer IRQ handler calls iio_trigger_notify_done()
once and reports the result via IRQ_RETVAL().
