Init-from-ROM (IFR) is a special GPU feature used for power management
on some Nvidia GPUs. It references data in the VBIOS for its operation,
but for drivers the important piece is the header that precedes the
VBIOS PCI Expansion ROM. Parsing VBIOS is necessary to boot GSP-RM on
Turing, Ampere, and Ada GPUs.
Most such GPUs do not need to parse the IFR header in order to find the
VBIOS, but the Nvidia GA100 is the exception. GA100 lacks a display
engine, so the PRAMIN method (which reads the VBIOS from VRAM via
display hardware) is unavailable, forcing the driver to read the ROM
directly via PROM. On other similar GPUs, either PRAMIN succeeds before
PROM is tried, or the IFR hardware has already applied the ROM offset
so that PROM reads transparently skip the IFR header.
Note that GH100 also does not have a display engine, but it uses a
completely different method to boot GSP-RM.
This information is derived from NVIDIA's open-source GPU kernel module
driver (aka OpenRM), specifically the NV_PBUS_IFR_FMT_FIXEDx definitions
in dev_bus.h and the parsing logic in s_romImgFindPciHeader_TU102().

QUP1_SE4 shares GPIO_36 & GPIO_37 for both L0/L1 and L3/L2 so the
function name cannot be the same or the alternate function cannot
be selected.
Split them up into individual lane functions so boards can specify.

Several QUP lanes have MIRA/MIRB mirror routings that let the same lane
be muxed out on alternative GPIOs. On Eliza these were all collapsed
under the base function name (e.g. qup1_se6), which prevented boards
from selecting the mirror variants.
Add explicit function names for each mirror lane, matching the pattern
already established by qcom,sm8550-tlmm and related bindings.

Binding should require 'reg' property, because address space cannot be
missing in the hardware and is already needed by the Linux drivers.
Require also 'compatible' by convention, although it is not strictly
necessary.

The mpll3 clock is one parent clock of the sd_emmc and mipi_isp clocks
on the Amlogic T7 SoC, but was missing from t7-peripherals-clkc.yaml
bindings. Add the mpll3 clock source to the T7 peripherals clock
controller input clock list, so that sd_emmc and mipi_isp can use it.
For logical consistency, place the required mpll3 entry before the
optional entry.
This change breaks the ABI, but while the amlogic,t7-peripherals-clkc
bindings have been merged upstream, the corresponding DT has not been
merged yet. Thus, no real users or systems are affected.

The smc-sysctl.rst documentation incorrectly stated that
the previous hardcoded maximum number of WR buffers on
the receive path (smcr_max_recv_wr) was 16.
The correct historical value used before the introduction of
the sysctl control was 48. Update the documentation to reflect
the accurate historical value. Also fix a couple of minor typos.

Recent changes have removed the hard limitations for using kexec and
TDX together. So remove the section in the TDX docs.
Users on partial write erratums will need an updated TDX module to
handle the rare edge cases. The docs do not currently provide any
guidance on recommended TDX module versions, so don't keep a whole
section around to document this interaction.

Document the panel-specific compatible string for the Tianma variant
of the Xiaomi Poco F1:
- "xiaomi,beryllium-tianma"
and require the generic fallback compatible:
- "xiaomi,beryllium"
Update the binding to clarify that all panel variants must list the
variant-specific compatible first, followed by the generic device
compatible, in accordance with DT matching rules.
The previous binding documentation did not describe the Tianma variant
and did not clearly specify the required fallback compatible, which
resulted in inconsistent DTS implementations.
No functional differences are currently exposed between Tianma and EBBG
variants at the binding level; both rely on the same generic device
compatibility for software support.

Qualcomm GX(graphics) is a clock controller which has PLLs, clocks and
Power domains (GDSC), but the requirement from the SW driver is to use
the GDSC power domain from the clock controller to recover the GPU
firmware in case of any failure/hangs. The rest of the resources of the
clock controller are being used by the firmware of GPU. This module
exposes the GDSC power domains which helps the recovery of Graphics
subsystem.
Milos can reuse the qcom,kaanapali-gxclkctl.h header due to similarity
of the hardware block, and also reuse of the Linux driver.

Commit 5f4f954bba12 ("dt-bindings: bluetooth: bring the HW description
closer to reality for wcn6855") changed the vddrfa1p7-supply to 1p8
for whatever reason.
The schematics footprint for this chip definitely says 7 on the input
leg and the driver still expects 1p7. Bring it back.

The Allwinner H616 has two switchable peripheral SRAM regions:
- The VE SRAM is a 2 MB dedicated SRAM for the Video Engine. CPU access
to this region is enabled by default. CPU access can be disabled,
after which reads will show the same stale value for all addresses,
while writes are ignored.
The mux value for this region is different from previous generations.
- The SRAM C region is an alias of the first 128 KB of VE SRAM, plus 64
KB of DE SRAM. The latter is otherwise unaccessible from the CPU. When
CPU access is disabled, the whole region reads as zero, while writes
are ignored.
The mux value for this region is the same as on the A64 and H6.
Add compatible strings for both of them.

The Agilex7-M is a rebranded version of the original Agilex SoC. The
Agilex7-M SoC has the same core peripherals as the Agilex device.
This change is to document the Agilex7m devkit which has the Agilex7-M
device. The Agilex7-M SoC supports DDR4, DDR5, LPDDR5, PCIE 5.0(x16), but
not QSPI.
Also, now that Altera has separated from Intel, use the "altr" company
prefix.

Update the Cadence USBSS DRD binding to document that it also covers
the USBSSP (SuperSpeed Plus, USB 3.1 gen2x1) controller. Both USBSS
and USBSSP share the same DRD/OTG register interface, so the driver
auto-detects the controller version at runtime: no additional
compatible string is needed.

Document the ZT trace bus and ZTR trace clocks on R-Mobile A1. These
clocks supply the coresight tracing modules, PTM, TPIU, ETB and
replicator. Without these clocks, coresight tracing can not be
operated. While this does change the ABI, it does so by extending the
existing clock-output-names, therefore if old software is used with new
DT, the coresight tracing parts will likely fail to probe, otherwise if
new software is used with an old DT, there is no impact.

The APDS990x driver in misc lacks DeviceTree support, and no mainline
pre-DT board files configured this device using apds990x_platform_data.
This driver belongs to a legacy group of ambient light sensor drivers in
drivers/misc/ that predates the migration to DT and the standard IIO ABI.
Since the Avago APDS9900/9901 ALS/Proximity sensor is now supported by
the tsl2772 IIO driver and there are no active users in the kernel tree,
remove this old implementation.

The Data Ready/FIFO interrupt has a special behavior that inverts the
IRQ polarity when devices with FIFO support enter FIFO mode, while using
normal polarity for data ready.
Document the interrupts property to clarify this special behavior for
users.

In the data storage description of a scan element, the first character
after the colon can have the values 's' and 'u' to specify signed and
unsigned integers, respectively.
Add 'f' as an allowed value to specify floating-point numbers formatted
according to the IEEE 754 standard.

This field is used to differentiate between signed and unsigned integers.
A following commit will extend its use in order to add support for non-
integer scan elements; therefore, replace it with a union that contains a
more generic 'format' field. This union will be dropped when all drivers
are changed to use the format field.
Opportunistically replace character literals with symbolic constants that
represent the set of allowed values for the format field.
