Each GDMA queue ring is one dma_alloc_coherent() of the whole ring size.
Such high-order allocations fail first under memory fragmentation, so
queue setup can fail with memory still free.
The hardware does not need the ring physically contiguous:
mana_gd_create_dma_region() already maps it as a list of MANA_PAGE_SIZE
(4K) device addresses. Only the driver's linear CPU view needs
contiguity, and it goes through mana_gd_ring_ptr() and
mana_gd_ring_contig_avail(); change both to map offsets onto
scattered pages.
Add a fallback in mana_gd_alloc_memory(): data-path queues pass
allow_scatter=true, so when the contiguous allocation fails the ring is
backed by a vector of scattered PAGE_SIZE (order-0) coherent pages,
presenting the same DMA page-list layout to the device. The HW channel
bootstrap keeps allow_scatter=false, and the debugfs ring dumper reads
scattered rings through the same helpers.

Implement returning to userspace applications PDNs of created PDs.
The PDN is used by applications that build work requests outside of the
rdma-core code base. The PDN is used to build work requests that require
mentioning the PD. The HW still ensures PD isolation using PDN attached
to MRs and WRs, therefore the PDN mentioned in the work request must match
the PDN of the used work queue. The work requests can fit only 16 bit PDNs.
Allow users to request short PDNs which are 16 bits.
The capability to request short PDN and get PDN is encoded in the response
of alloc user context IOCTL.

Use the GIC functions to allocate interrupt contexts for RDMA EQs. These
interrupt contexts may be shared with Ethernet EQs when MSI-X vectors
are limited.
The driver now supports allocating dedicated MSI-X for each EQ. Indicate
this capability through driver capability bits. The RDMA EQs pass
use_msi_bitmap=false to share MSI-X vectors with Ethernet, while the
capability flag advertises that the driver supports per-vPort EQ
separation when hardware has sufficient vectors.
Populate eq.irq on all RDMA EQs for consistency with the Ethernet path.
Also relocate the GDMA_DRV_CAP_FLAG_1_HW_VPORT_LINK_AWARE define to its

Use GIC functions to create a dedicated interrupt context or acquire a
shared interrupt context for each EQ when setting up a vPort.
The caller now owns the GIC reference across the EQ create/destroy
lifecycle: mana_create_eq() calls mana_gd_get_gic() before creating
each EQ and mana_destroy_eq() calls mana_gd_put_gic() after destroying
it. The msix_index invalidation is moved from mana_gd_deregister_irq()
to the mana_gd_create_eq() error path so that mana_destroy_eq() can
read the index before teardown.

To allow Ethernet EQs to use dedicated or shared MSI-X vectors and RDMA
EQs to share the same MSI-X, introduce a GIC (GDMA IRQ Context) with
reference counting. This allows the driver to create an interrupt context
on an assigned or unassigned MSI-X vector and share it across multiple
EQ consumers.

When querying the device, adjust the max number of queues to allow
dedicated MSI-X vectors for each vPort. The per-vPort queue count is
clamped towards MANA_DEF_NUM_QUEUES but will not exceed the hardware
maximum reported by the device.
MSI-X sharing among vPorts is enabled when there are not enough MSI-X
vectors for dedicated allocation, or when the platform does not support
dynamic MSI-X allocation (in which case all vectors are pre-allocated
at probe time and sharing is always used). The msi_sharing flag is
reset at the top of mana_gd_query_max_resources() so it is recomputed
from current hardware state on each probe or resume cycle.
Clamp apc->max_queues to gc->max_num_queues_vport in mana_init_port()
so that on resume, if max_num_queues_vport has decreased due to fewer
MSI-X vectors, num_queues is reduced accordingly before EQ allocation.
A device reporting zero ports now results in a fatal probe error since
the per-vPort MSI-X math requires at least one port.
Rename mana_query_device_cfg() to mana_gd_query_device_cfg() as it is
used at GDMA device probe time for querying device capabilities.

As a part of MANA hardening for CVM, add validation for the doorbell
ID (db_id) received from hardware in the GDMA_REGISTER_DEVICE response
to prevent out-of-bounds memory access when calculating the doorbell
page address.
In mana_gd_ring_doorbell(), the doorbell page address is calculated as:
addr = db_page_base + db_page_size * db_index
= (bar0_va + db_page_off) + db_page_size * db_index
A hardware could return values that cause this address to fall outside
the BAR0 MMIO region. In Confidential VM environments, hardware responses
cannot be fully trusted.
Add the following validations:
- Store the BAR0 size (bar0_size) in gdma_context during probe.
- Validate the doorbell page offset (db_page_off) read from device
registers does not exceed bar0_size during initialization, converting
mana_gd_init_registers() to return an error code.
- Validate db_id from GDMA_REGISTER_DEVICE response against the
maximum number of doorbell pages that fit within BAR0.

The GF stats periodic query is used as mechanism to monitor HWC health
check. If this HWC command times out, it is a strong indication that
the device/SoC is in a faulty state and requires recovery.
Today, when a timeout is detected, the driver marks
hwc_timeout_occurred, clears cached stats, and stops rescheduling the
periodic work. However, the device itself is left in the same failing
state.
Extend the timeout handling path to trigger the existing MANA VF
recovery service by queueing a GDMA_EQE_HWC_RESET_REQUEST work item.
This is expected to initiate the appropriate recovery flow by suspende
resume first and if it fails then trigger a bus rescan.
This change is intentionally limited to HWC command timeouts and does
not trigger recovery for errors reported by the SoC as a normal command
response.

Allow dyn MSI-X vector allocation of MANA
In this patchset we want to enable the MANA driver to be able to
allocate MSI-X vectors in PCI dynamically.
The first patch exports pci_msix_prepare_desc() in PCI to be able to
correctly prepare descriptors for dynamically added MSI-X vectors.
The second patch adds the support of dynamic vector allocation in
pci-hyperv PCI controller by enabling the MSI_FLAG_PCI_MSIX_ALLOC_DYN
flag and using the pci_msix_prepare_desc() exported in first patch.
The third patch adds a detailed description of the irq_setup(), to
help understand the function design better.
The fourth patch is a preparation patch for mana changes to support
dynamic IRQ allocation. It contains changes in irq_setup() to allow
skipping first sibling CPU sets, in case certain IRQs are already
affinitized to them.
The fifth patch has the changes in MANA driver to be able to allocate
MSI-X vectors dynamically. If the support does not exist it defaults to
older behavior.

Currently, the MANA driver allocates MSI-X vectors statically based on
MANA_MAX_NUM_QUEUES and num_online_cpus() values and in some cases ends
up allocating more vectors than it needs. This is because, by this time
we do not have a HW channel and do not know how many IRQs should be
allocated.
To avoid this, we allocate 1 MSI-X vector during the creation of HWC and
after getting the value supported by hardware, dynamically add the
remaining MSI-X vectors.

cannot properly handle this, and may miss some devices in the list.
To fix, scan the entire list until the num_of_devs are found, or until
the end of the list.

As defined by the MANA Hardware spec, the queue size for DMA is 4KB
minimal, and power of 2. And, the HWC queue size has to be exactly
4KB.
To support page sizes other than 4KB on ARM64, define the minimal
queue size as a macro separately from the PAGE_SIZE, which we always
assumed it to be 4KB before supporting ARM64.
Also, add MANA specific macros and update code related to size
alignment, DMA region calculations, etc.

This patch allows to assign and poll more than one EQ on the same
msix index.
It is achieved by introducing a list of attached EQs in each IRQ context.
It also removes the existing msix_index map that tried to ensure that there
is only one EQ at each msix_index.
This patch exports symbols for creating EQs from other MANA kernel modules.

During probe, get the hardware-allowed max MTU by querying the device
configuration. Users can select MTU up to the device limit.
When XDP is in use, limit MTU settings so the buffer size is within
one page. And, when MTU is set to a too large value, XDP is not allowed
to run.
Also, to prevent changing MTU fails, and leaves the NIC in a bad state,
pre-allocate all buffers before starting the change. So in low memory
condition, it will return error, without affecting the NIC.
