Pull clk updates from Stephen Boyd:
"Mostly the usual clk driver updates and new SoC additions plus
non-critical data fixes for things that weren't used yet.
One thing that's new here in the core is SSC spread spectrum support
(SSC) in the clk provider API. The idea is that DT authors will
configure SSC for certain clks and they'll be configured at clk
provider registration time or when a consumer device is probed,
similar to how we handle assigned clk rates or parents.
On the clk driver side we have Qualcomm adding almost half the diff
because they add support for 4 different SoCs and then a long tail of
other SoCs like Mediatek, Renesas, Rockchip, SpaceMiT, etc. add more
SoC support this time around. Luckily it's mostly clk data for these
new SoCs because the actual clk_ops are already there. Beyond the new
drivers we get all the little fixups for more compilation coverage or
usage of more modern APIs. That all looks normal.
Finally, I kinda buried the lede, I'm bringing on Brian and Jerome to
help out with maintaining the clk subsystem. The current working model
is already semi-distributed in that silicon vendors typically take
care of their drivers and send me pull requests but I'm becoming a
bottleneck for new drivers and core framework review because this has
become a 100% volunteer effort on my part.
Mike is stepping down after all these years (thanks Mike!) and that
jump started the conversation around finding co-maintainers. Brian and
Jerome have graciously offered to help me with the work load, meaning
in the future they'll be sending pull requests and committing directly
to the clk.git tree. They've both been around on the list for a while,
I've met them both in person, and they've been making changes to the
core clk framework along with helping review patches so I'm pretty
confident this will work well.
Core:
- devm_clk_bulk_get_enable() consumer API
- devm_clk_hw_register_composite_pdata() provider API

The i2s{0,2,3,4,5}_sysclk_div DDNs have an additional fixed 1/2
divider in the hardware IP after the configurable divider, so the
real output rate is:
rate = parent_rate * den / (num * 2)
Set pre_div to 2 to account for it.

The K3 i2s clocks were modelled as a single path behind one MPMU
register:
pll1_d96_25p6 / i2s_153p6_base
`-- i2s_sysclk_src (mux+gate, MPMU_ISCCR)
`-- i2s1_sysclk (DDN, MPMU_ISCCR)
|-- i2s_bclk (div+gate, MPMU_ISCCR)
`-- i2s2_sysclk (mux, parent 0)
The hardware actually has two i2s clock control registers, ISCCR0
(0x0040) and ISCCR1 (0x0044): ISCCR1 drives the common sysclk shared
by i2s0/2/3/4/5 and the common bclk, whose divider always implies a
fixed 1/2 factor in front, while ISCCR0 drives a dedicated path for
i2s1:
pll1_d96_25p6 / i2s_153p6_base
|-- i2s_sysclk_src (mux+gate, MPMU_ISCCR1)
| `-- i2s_sysclk (DDN, MPMU_ISCCR1)
| |-- i2s_bclk_factor (fixed factor, /2)
| | `-- i2s_bclk (div+gate, MPMU_ISCCR1)
| `-- i2s2_sysclk (mux, parent 0)
`-- i2s1_sysclk_src (mux+gate, MPMU_ISCCR0)
`-- i2s1_sysclk (DDN, MPMU_ISCCR0)
Because of this mismatch, i2s_bclk reported twice the real rate, and
the dedicated i2s1 clock path could not be described in DT at all.
Model the tree as above: split the MPMU_ISCCR register macro into
MPMU_ISCCR0 and MPMU_ISCCR1 to match the hardware register names,
rename the common DDN to i2s_sysclk, insert the fixed 1/2 factor
i2s_bclk_factor in front of i2s_bclk, and add the i2s1_sysclk_src mux
and i2s1_sysclk DDN backed by MPMU_ISCCR0. CLK_MPMU_I2S1_SYSCLK now
refers to the dedicated i2s1 clock; no in-tree user references this
ID, so nothing is affected by the change of meaning.

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using
git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'
to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.
Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.
For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:
Single allocations: kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)
Array allocations: kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)
Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)
(where TYPE may also be *VAR)
The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

This change is needed for adding future new SpacemiT K3 reset driver.
Since both K1 and K3 reset code register via the same module which its
name changed to spacemit_ccu, it's necessary to encode the platform/SoC
in the reset auxiliary device name to distinguish them, otherwise two
reset drivers will claim to support same "compatible" auxiliary device
even in the case of only one CCU clock driver got registered, which in
the end lead to a broken reset driver.

which would lower the burden of maintenance. Since this commit changes the

Currently, the SPACEMIT_CCU entry is only a switch for enabling entry
SPACEMIT_K1_CCU. It does not guide the build for common clock codes

This is bogus and is simply a result of KASAN consulting the
`.num` member of the struct for bounds information (as it should
due to `__counted_by`) and finding 0 set by kzalloc() because it
has not been initialized before the loop that fills in the array.
The easy fix is to just move the line that sets `num` to before
the loop that fills the array so that KASAN has the information
it needs to accurately conclude that the access is valid.

Defining i2s_bclk and i2s_sysclk as fixed-rate clocks is insufficient
for real I2S use cases.
Moreover, the current I2S clock configuration does not work as expected
due to missing parent clocks.
This patch adds the missing parent clocks, defines i2s_sysclk as
a DDN clock, and i2s_bclk as a DIV clock.
A special note for i2s_bclk:
From the register definition, the i2s_bclk divider always implies
an additional 1/2 factor.
The following table shows the correspondence between index
and frequency division coefficients:
| index | div |
|-------|-------|
| 0 | 2 |
| 1 | 4 |
| 2 | 6 |
| 3 | 8 |
From a software perspective, introducing i2s_bclk_factor as the
parent of i2s_bclk is sufficient to address the issue.
The I2S-related clock registers can be found here [1].

BIT[3] of this register must be set if need to select i2s_bclk as
SSPA parent clock, to solve this, introduces a new SSPAx_I2S_BCLK
clock as the virtual gate clock.

The pll1_d8 clock is enabled by the boot loader, and is ultimately a
parent for numerous clocks, including those used by APB and AXI buses.
Guodong Xu discovered that this clock got disabled while responding to
getting -EPROBE_DEFER when requesting a reset controller.
The needed clock (CLK_DMA, along with its parents) had already been
enabled. To respond to the probe deferral return, the CLK_DMA clock
was disabled, and this led to parent clocks also reducing their enable
count. When the enable count for pll1_d8 was decremented it became 0,
which caused it to be disabled. This led to a system hang.
Marking that clock critical resolves this by preventing it from being
disabled.
Define a new macro CCU_FACTOR_GATE_DEFINE() to allow clock flags to
be supplied for a CCU_FACTOR_GATE clock.

Add a new reset_name field to the spacemit_ccu_data structure. If it is
non-null, the CCU implements a reset controller, and the name will be
used in the name for the auxiliary device that implements it.
Define a new type to hold an auxiliary device as well as the regmap
pointer that will be needed by CCU reset controllers. Set up code to
initialize and add an auxiliary device for any CCU that implements reset
functionality.
Make it optional for a CCU to implement a clock controller. This
doesn't apply to any of the existing CCUs but will for some new ones
that will be added soon.

The control register for TWSI8 clocks, APBC_TWSI8_CLK_RST, contains mux
selection bits, reset assertion bit and enable bits for function and bus
clocks. It has a quirk that reading always results in zero.
As a workaround, let's hardcode the mux value as zero to select
pll1_d78_31p5 as parent and treat twsi8_clk as a gate, whose enable mask
is combined from the real bus and function clocks to avoid the
write-only register being shared between two clk_hws, in which case
updates of one clk_hw zero the other's bits.
With a 1:1 factor serving as placeholder for the bus clock, the I2C-8
controller could be brought up, which is essential for boards attaching
power-management chips to it.

The clock tree of K1 SoC contains three main types of clock hardware
(PLL/DDN/MIX) and has control registers split into several multifunction
devices: APBS (PLLs), MPMU, APBC and APMU.
All register operations are done through regmap to ensure atomicity
between concurrent operations of clock driver and reset,
power-domain driver that will be introduced in the future.
